Over the weekend Gracie chewed the cord to my laptop :sad2: . Lucky for her she didn't get a big shock because it knocked the power out in the family room and the cord was sizzling :sad2: $85 dollars for a new cord :scared1: .

Yesterday she got the cord to my ipod and chewed that up :furious: I don't know how she did that as it was on the table :confused3 $20 for a new cord :scared1: .

She also apparently ate a bunch of rubber bands, don't know how she got those either :confused3 How do I know you say, lets just say they were recycled through with much difficulty on her end :rolleyes1 :lmao:

She has been really good about not chewing things up until this point she is almost 5 months now. It's not like she doesn't have enough toys to keep her occupied, she has them spread out from one end of the house to the other

Those are some expensive chew toys ;)

Dash has gotten an appetite lately for magnets, he loves the magnets on our fridge and will jump very high to get them. I feel we have done more to puppy-proof the house these past few months than we every did to baby-proof the house for the kids because he is a lot more mobile than they ever were.

Yep...my pups are 1 yr and 3 months and thank goodness they are out of that stage!!!
It was a nightmare. I have Butters and a Gracie too...
Ate the fence, and some other stuff.
This is why crating them is for their own safety at this stage. Butters would have ate the house.:rotfl:

We got through it using Kongs stuffed with goodies (stomach friendly only), the Nylabones for strong chewers, the crate, and lots of supervision. They ate all soft toys. Still do it. I have yet to find a soft toy to withstand my 2 dogs.

Butters still eats rocks. :sad2: We really have to keep an eye him. Oh he is the one that ate the wood fence & floor molding in our house.

Welcome to the club! Mine has gone through cell phones, remote controls, power cords, molding, rocks, branches and her latest victim was a 9V flashlight. All this while there's a least a hunnert bux worth of chew toys lying around.

What really suprises me is what she actually swallows. I only find out about the really goofy stuff on my weekly 'poop patrol' to pick up and bury. "Good GAWD! What HAVE you been eating dog?!"

My "puppy" is a year old now and she's even worse than she was as a puppy.

Last week, she chewed a pair of scissors. Broke the handle right in two. :teeth: We make sure not to leave things lying around but I didn't really think a pair of scissors would be that interesting.

Eeek!! Those stories are frightening.
But I have to tell you that we had 3 goats when I was growing up. They'd rather eat your dinner than your IPOD. Peanut butter sandwiches were favorites.

Maybe try baby carrots for the puppy. My dog started chewing about that time. A few nice cold baby carrots seemed to calm him down. Not sure why - maybe it was the cold. :confused3
Good luck with her. She's beautiful. :)

I have a dog named Gracie too. She used to love to chew my shoes. Thank goodness she outgrew that. :thumbsup2 Your puppy is beautiful.

We have puppy proofed the house too, or so we thought. Still can't figure out how she got the cord off the table :confused3. She is always watched when she is not in her crate or locked in the laundry room apparently not well enough :sad2:

awwww, that really bites :rotfl2: but how can you get mad at that adorable face :goodvibes

Thank you for the laugh :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: How on earth did you come up with that picture :rotfl:

We had a clients dog chew up my cell phone when we remodeled their kitchen. She was upset that I added the cost of the cell phone to her bill.
