Ugh, another MDE problem...

So I have two families going to the parks and staying at the resort. We just rebooked our trips with the new discounts that came out, and of course it broke our links to each other. I deleted everyone and readded them under the new confirmation number.

So now they ALL show up under 'people I don't have plans with' but when I go to actually rebook their park reservations for them, I only see three of the four family members. The primary point person on their reservation, the only one with the MDE account, is not showing up. How do I get her name to show up so I can make reservations for her?

Honestly the discount was so piddly it wasn't really worth all this hassle. Oofda.

When you say you “deleted everyone and readded them,” do you mean you made new profiles for everyone? Or did you delete the old confirmation numbers, or did you UN-link each person from the old confirmation numbers and re-link them to the new one by checking their names in your F&F list?

If you deleted them from your F&F list and re-added them, you may have created duplicate profiles for them.

You may need to call the Disney MDE support folks at (407) 939-4357 to straighten this out.

I did have duplicates but I deleted those. They were not profiles I controlled. Then I readded via their new confirmation number. Now everyone shows up as friends.

But the primary person who controls that family and who booked their package is the one person who doesn't show up when I go to redo their park reservations. That's the part I find odd. She controls the other 3, but for some reason I can book all three of them and not her.

Also I just realized their ages are all wrong. They're right on the reservation email, but they have the dad of the family as 3-9 and their 5 year old as 10+.

Phew, got it fixed with help from Disney chat. The ages are still wrong on the park reservations screen but she confirmed they were right on the package and said that was all that mattered.
