If you are going to be using Disney transportation I would bring along my own 2nd stroller. A cheap umbrella stroller with a sun shade should work fine for when the 5 year old needs a stroller. This way it is easier to transport on and off the buses than a double stroller and you save some money as well.

This is what I would do. At 5 we had my DD walk during the day but we used an umbrella stroller for evenings after our afternoon break and at Epcot. Long evenings and Epcot can tire anyone out!
