Uggghhhh!!! Can't Decide! Split stay?

I'm planning a 20th anniversary trip in June for DH and I. I am going thru my usual "can't decide...I want to stay at all of the resorts".

We will be there 6 nights with a mid-week break to visit family off property. Right now we are booked at WL, but I don't want to be there without my boys.

We are leaning towards Boardwalk (we have never stayed in that area before). But I would also love to stay at the Poly.

So now I'm thinking, why not split stay CL? We have always done the dining package, but I'm thinking we might save some money if we pay OOP. Especially since split will cost a little more. Plus with the mid-week break it would make for a natural break to switch resorts.

Any thoughts from any split stay experts?

For a six night stay, I typically wouldn't recommend a split, but with your break to visit family, I think you have the perfect excuse to do it!!! IMHO, an MK/EP resort split stay is THE best and I personally would pick Poly and BWI as well. So my vote is YES!!

I agree split with the mid week break. Poly is romantic and BWI is fun!

We did a Poly/BC split and it was wonderful. I say go for it!

Ordinarily I would argue against a split stay. But in your scenario, if you are not renting a room at Disney for the mid week night (and having to pack up luggage anyway), I would say your plan is doable.

I abolsutely love the EP resorts. Just came back from 6 days at Beach Club. I have stayed at BWI and really enjoyed it. There are many things to do at the Boardwalk and the food options are great. And the walk to Epcot is so nice, especially after Illuminations. I think staying at Poly and BWI would be the best of both worlds.

I love the Boardwalk area! If my husband and I ever get to go kid-free again I would love to stay there. And Poly - who wouldn't love to stay at Poly? Sounds like a good plan!
