Leaving for the Fort in 6 days and decided to open the pop-up to take inventory. Haven't used it since June. There were roach droppings in everything! Now I must remove all my camping supplies, sleeping bags, linens, cookware, utensils and disinfect everything and wash down the interior of the camper thouroughly. Unfortunately I work up until the day before my trip and have no clue how I will get it all done. :confused3

I have stored this camper in the same spot for many years, and have never had such a bad infestation. :sad2:

Any advice?

Ew~ glad you found it before you left. Think what an unhappy surprise that would have been :rolleyes2 Now gather up all the linens and sleeping bags and drop them off at the laundry. Since ou only have 5 days, pay someone else to wash, dry & fold. Everything washable goes in the dishwasher. Get some hot soapy water and wipe down all surfaces--if you can pay someone to do that(camper dealer?) do it. Be careful using bleach--sometimes that can weaken your walks and make them leak. Good luck :wave2:

Sounds like good advice to me! I hope you can get everything done without going crazy.

Dumb question, but is evidence of a roach infestation obvious? I don't need details, just wondering if this is something I should expect with our new/used pop up that hasn't been opened in a while. We are in the northeast.
