(Wondering if you have left yet....)
Not an expert, just a wanna-be, but
since you asked.....
Assuming that your 9AM Magic Kingdom opening
is *not* an EMH morning, I bet you can
easily do four attractions before 10:05AM.
(Is that right, you have to be there 15 minutes before?)
However, I'm not so sure about these particular four.
(Note: if you arrive at 9AM when Magic Kingdom
opened for EMH at 8AM, all the following
bets are off!)
Actually, it's an interesting problem, trying
to figure out theoretically if you can do it.
I say, the problem is: when would
you do Buzz Lightyear?
If you do Dumbo, Peter Pan, and Pooh first,
then you have to walk back to Buzz, then walk
back to the castle for your CRT.
Just the walking from Pooh to Buzz and then
back to CRT will eat up time--prime touring
time that could be used for maybe 3 more
Fantasyland attractions, if you even have
enough time for that walk. And if you don't
have time for 2 or 3 more Fantasyland
attractions, then you certainly wouldn't
have time for the walk to Buzz and back.
I wouldn't even send the fastest person
to get Buzz FastPasses, because with my luck,
the return time would be for the exact hour
I would be eating CRT. Then the time
walking there and back would be a complete
waste.
Finally, if you do Dumbo, Pan, Pooh, and
then Buzz, what happens if you get down
to Buzz and find out it's taking longer
than you thought! Skip the CRT???!!!
I personally wouldn't risk that. Plus,
I'm all for being a commando when getting
up, getting ready, getting to the park early,
and racing to the first attraction. But after
that, I'm done running.
OK, so.....what if you do Buzz first.
Here you would be gambling that Dumbo
would still have a decently short line
around 9:20. For some people (maybe me!),
that would be worth the risk. BUT your
DD2 has been talking about Dumbo for
the last year! Not a good bet in that
case.
My busy-body advice is go for the sure thing.
Do Buzz Lightyear another time. (What about
that night before?)
Do 1. Dumbo, 2. Peter Pan, 3. Pooh. Then spend
the rest of your time enjoying Fantasyland.
It will be relaxing *and* commando at the
same time!! Want to try to win a prize?
Try to get six attractions in before 10.
Repeats count!
Any interest at all in Mad Tea Party?
Casually stroll over by it after Pooh and
see if DD2 will let you skip it.
If not, good thing you have time to do it now.
Good motion sickness news: you can definitely
wrestle control of the center wheel from DD2,
and keep the cups from spinning!
Ten years from now, there will be
no way you can do this with a DD13!
What about Cinderella's Golden Carrousel?
(Hint: When you left Dumbo and tried to
go to Peter Pan, did DD2 insist on the
Carrousel instead?)
The thing is, just like Dumbo, those
teacups and that Carrousel are out there
in plain sight for DD2 to see.
They aren't like those attractions hidden
in buildings...when she sees these,
she may insist on riding!
If you're really lucky with short lines
(and my money says you *will* be lucky
with short lines), you may be ready
by 9:40 for It's A Small World (20 minutes
includes the line, the ride, and the potential
boat-getting-stuck delay).
If you're extremely lucky, Ariel's Grotto
will open earlier than scheduled (it happened
to us!). Check it out periodically: send
yourself or DH quickly to run over and see
if it is open.
Here's another good bet: DD2 will ask
to ride something again and again!
I almost forgot: now there's the 100-acre wood,
or Pooh's Playful Playground, or whatever it's called.
Maybe you could "finish off" Fantasyland completely
before the CRT, except for PhilharMagic. Then
you will have accomplished a "commando morning,"
and you will have thoroughly enjoyed it too!
The surest bet of all: no matter what you decide,
you will have a great time!!!
