UG 2006 vs 2007

The new one is expected to ship by August if ordered now on Overstock.

I have the 2006, and we plan on going next year, so was thinking about ordering 2007. Have any of you noticed much of a difference in the years past editions? And do you think it's worth it for the new one? It's about $12.

I buy a new one every year whether I'm planning to go to WDW that year or not; everyone in my family and circle of friends comes to me when they want their trips planned so I have to keep up to date. There isn't a lot of difference between editions, unless something is new like an attraction, restaurant, or a parade or something. Then there's the daily crowd index for the year, but you can find that info online on their website (http://www.touringplans.com). So pretty much, it could go either way. Personally, if I'm planning a trip, I want the information I have to be as up to date as possible.

Other people may have a different opinion, but to be honest, I haven't noticed much change from when I first purchased the UG in 2000 compared to last year's for 2006. They do list a calendar of touring plans now, but we found they GREATLY underestimated the attendance levels for the week we were there.

I'm with Sonno on this one. I buy a new UG every year whether I'm planning a trip or not. I use it to help others plan their trips.

When I'm planning my own trip I will buy a current Passporter (for organizing) and a Birnbaum's (for pictures) in addition to the UG.

I also get a new Disney Vacation Planning Video every time a new one comes out whether I planning a trip or not.
