UberSelect from MCO

The Uber website now lists UberSelect as the option for pick ups from MCO. I'm guessing this must be a fairly recent change as it used to be that only Uber Black could pickup from MCO. The estimates fares are MUCH less than Uber Black.

Has anyone had any experience with Uber Select from MCO yet?

Yes, I know how to use uber. Thought you would remember the rates 'you' were quoted as uber can vary upon surge pricing.

Change started (quietly) back in Oct. We took Select from MCO day before Matthew hit.
I got an email from Uber last week making the change official.
Select was about $20 less than car service was (Black is the same general fee as car service)

ETA - Pulled up the app, our fare, from MCO to Swan, $62 (before tip)

I used Uber Select two weeks ago MCO-Dolphin Resort. Was $63. Used it back to MCO...$54. First ride was in a Lincoln Town car, second in a Black Mercedes C Class Sedan.

I had AMEX points for "free" rides so it was a great deal.

Just so folks know, you are not limited to Select and Black for trips back to MCO. You can use any class, which will cut costs significantly.

I did know that, but wanted to treat myself...Select is a much better experience than Uber X, in my experience.
