Uber vs Parking Pass ?

What are the pros and cons of using Uber versus getting a DL parking pass for my trip? Any idea of what would be more affordable? More convenient?

Details:
I'm going on a trip with one other person. We're staying off property at Ayres Orange (aprox. 3 mi from DL) for our entire trip (five days at the park). We don't know what would be the better choice for getting to and from the park - taking Ubers everyday or driving ourselves? We are most concerned with convenience but if there is a dramatic cost difference, then that might be a deal breaker. I know five days of DL parking passes is $150 total, but don't know the approx. cost of Ubers for five days, two rides per day.

In my experience, Uber is less or roughly the same as daily parking even factoring in the tip for my drivers. I know others have experienced surge pricing, but I haven’t when going back and forth to the parks. (Open the Uber app and just plug in the two locations at various times of day and it should give you a good estimate.) our Uber rides in December were all less than $8 before tipping, though I would guess Ayres might be a dollar or two more as it’s a little further.

Personally, we prefer it because drop off is right near the gates and we don’t have to fight the parking lots and trams and buses to get to the park. We just get dropped off at the Harbor drop-off and walk right to security.

I would do Uber and also check Lyft in case of surge pricing. It'd probably cost about the same but if you're tired after a day in the park, going to the parking lot and driving will not be fun.
