Uber to and from parks

So I am from a city that doesn't have uber so I have no clue how it works. We are staying at the Best Western Plus Meridian Inn & Suites. What we want to do is uber to and from the parks but I am worried that at the end of a long day the parks our uber would get snatched up and we would be out of luck. Just curious if this is a valid concern or if the uber will wait for the specific person. Best place to get them to pick you up at?

The driver gets a pic of you from your Uber profile, and they only get paid if they pick up YOU (once they accept the trip). So no one will snatch your Uber. It’s easy! Enjoy!

So download both apps and give yourself options! They both work much the same, and many drivers work both services.

Fantastic, that puts my mind at ease. Do you have a recommendation of where they should pick us up? The parking lot at the McDonalds maybe?

Yes, they will usually confirm your name to make sure you are the right person. You also get the name of the driver and make/model of the car along with license plate number so you can confirm as well (and also make sure no one else tries to get in yours).

If you've not signed up for either before, look for incentive coupons! You have to do it when you sign up, and sometimes they're really good. Uber gave me the best one, which was a free ride (up to a certain price amount, which I can't recall but believe was $15) and money off each of my next 5 rides. Lyft had something similar but I think it was $5 off the first 5 rides. Do a google search to see what offers are out there. Plus--if there is more than one cell phone in your party, you can each do the same thing!

ETA: by sign up I mean downloading the app, but you can also sign up online, I believe. Just be sure you can get the bonus before you download the app because once you're a member, you no longer qualify if you didn't activate the sign-up bonus at the time.

I prefer Lyft as well- all drivers I've had that work for both say that Lyft treats them 20x better and therefore, they get my business.
