Uber pick up from all star sports??

We plan to use uber to go to Universal for a few days. We are staying at all star sports. Where should we have uber pick us up? Will the uber driver to allowed inside the resort gates?

They can pick you up right outside the front of Stadium Hall where the Taxis pick up and drop off.

We were going to do this, but then priced it out and renting a car was much cheaper! If you are open to it, it might be easier.

We just use the taxi Disney contracts. Just ask Bell services and a Mears taxi is there in minutes.

How much is a taxi to Universal? We have a family of 4. It looks like Uber will be a little under $20 each way. We will have 2 free rides through my DH's account and mine. Since we are going 2 different days it will cost us around $40 for the uber rides. Will a taxi ride be cheaper? I have checked out car rentals and from what I have found it would be much more expensive to rent a car especially considering the parking fees at Universal. Please correct me if I am wrong. I definitely want the cheapest option available.

I can tell you a taxi from Sports to the Contemporary was over $20. Uber is probably your best bet.

In every situation we've used Uber, excluding Uber Black, it has been much cheaper than a taxi. Like by close to 50%.
