Is only Contemporary not allowing Uber drop-offs or is it the same for all the Magic Kingdom area resorts including Grand Floridian, Poly and Wilderness Lodge? We just don't want to take a morning packed full bus from CBR so trying to see what our options are.

I believe they allow dropoffs at TTC, which should work. The Contemporary was popular because of the walking path, any other stop and you'll still have to take a monorail or boat.

All of the MK area resort hotels appear to be blocking drop-off at hotels. As the other poster said, best to drop at TTC. Otherwise you might be turned away. Recent posts have said similar issue happened at BC so could be both MK & Epcot resort hotels thing.

a busy ferry is a lot less packed and has open air. skyliner is minimal parties and again airflow. Disney buses have always been claustrophobic in the morning-especially when coming from CBR with multiple stops and a long ride. Which is why I asked about Uber drop-offs for MK.

@firstwdw I hear ya, trying to keep exposure risks down. WDW didn't make these changes due to that aspect but so many people were abusing the drop off's at the hotels that it was impacting the guests of those hotels. They started this all before Covid, then when they allowed you to mobile order that was a new way to get dropped off at the resort hotels, then Disney nixed that option. Your safest option if you want to avoid the bus is to use the ride share then take the Ferry and try to get up on the second deck along the railing. Or make a breakfast reservation at one of the resorts in the area and Uber there - with the ADR you should be good to enter and get dropped off.

Thank you! I was just making sure there wasn't some obvious easier option I was overlooking! or we will just deal with the bus. I have horrible bus memories from CBR in 2016......before Covid! but with the skyliner that helps avoid the buses so just need to deal with Magic Kingdom-it's really just that rope drop bus.....thanks again!
