U.S Raises Terror threat

U.S government is raising the national terror threat warning from yellow to orange. Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge is to hold a news conference this afternoon to discuss the change in status.

Orange is the second-highest level threat, with yellow being the mid-range.

There is obviously an extremely high chance of something happening here as well. I work for a member of parliament in London and have just had a phone call telling me not to go into the office or handle any of the post today.

Yes, I'm for real. I work in the constituency office as a caseworker. I saw my MP yesterday (for our christmas lunch) and he confirmed that we should be extremely cautious especially of our mail.

Anything that looks unusual, different shape, postmarks etc we are to leave and call the police. I think that they expect something to occur over the christmas period.
