No chest size deep freezers. Can you park a uhaul @ a DVC and does a Grand Villa have a chest size deep freezer?
I'll be the curious one and ask why?

WE are a large family of 16. UHaul is to carry extra stuff: table, folding chairs, crock pot, deep fryer. My DB wants to know can he bring the chest freezer for pre-frozen meals. I saw a YouTube video that showed a laundry room with extra space to hold a chest size deep freezer. I just don't remember which resort. We are from TX, but we don't hunt. Just 6 healthy strapping young men and 1 old fart(DB)!me too... wondering if the two questions are related. do they need the uhaul to keep all of their hunting equipment and then the deep freezer to store the kills to eventually eat in their villa?
Which resorts have the Grand Villas? I think I counted 6.There is larger vehicle parking at some of the resorts, you would have to check with security.

That sounds more like you're going camping than staying in a GV.
OKW, SSR, BWV, AKV Jambo and Kidani, BLT, VGF and CCV.
We did have a small UHaul trailer once when we brought eight of our son's friends with us for a post HS graduation trip. We took both cars so we had all 11 of us in the two vehicles. And the UHaul for all the luggage. We were at OKW in a GV and they gave us a parking pass for the trailer when we disconnected it from the one car.
Yes. But your biggest problem with all that stuff is carrying it up the stairs. Most of the GV at OKW start on the second floor of the buildings and they don't have elevators in most of the buildings. Carrying a chest freezer and a table up the stairs might be a big pain.Deb & Bill,
Thanks so much, this is what I wanted to know. I understand OKW is the oldest DVC, so it's a little larger than the newer builds. Is this true?

Since it would have a kitchen you can have lets say more advanced appliances but I'm thinking no on a deep fryer for a few issues. First it could be seen as a fire hazard but worse is that the grease smell with cling to every surface.![]()
Agree. Plus what happens to the used oil? AFAIK, there is no easy way to dispose of that at a DVC resort.Since it would have a kitchen you can have lets say more advanced appliances but I'm thinking no on a deep fryer for a few issues.
