Typing?

How fast does everyone type? I usually type at 70-80wpm. I type faster or slower depending on what I am typing, but not much. I occasionally hit 95-100, but not too often. So, how fast does everyone else type?

90 t0 95 wpm with a high accuracy! I type blind! I am visually impaired, was blind for two years and had to learn alot!

I went to this site and tried a few tests. The best I did was 58 WPM at 95% accuracy. I need to practice more.

I just took a test for school, I am at 90-95 WPM! and my spelling was right on!(for once)

Last time I tested I was 85 I think. I don't remember how long ago that was though! I still type at least as well as then.

I wouldn't have the foggiest idea how fast I am now, but when I graduated high school, I was doing 105 WPM with no errors. If I had to guess, I would say 80-85 WPM? Sometimes I type too fast and have mistakes though...gotta love the backspace! LOL

I took a test when applying for a job recently and it was 65 wpm no errors, I might try that test link tho, sometimes those job tests make me nervous and cause me to slow down a little bit, but 65 is probably about right for me.

I type really fast when I am typing what I am thinking, but slower when I am typing from something I am reading.

I used to come in at around 80-90 wpm when I was in high school and practicing every day, but I'm sure it's slower now. It's also a lot slower when I'm writing something off the top of my head, like I'm doing now, rather than copying something.

thanks! I have a computer class at school, basically it is typing.
