Typhoon Tilly's charged me for TS!!

Just returned from our first ever WDW family vacation 8 nights w/DDP!!
Fabulous....until... the last TS at Le Cellier, I handed my card to use our last TS credits, waitress returns and says "sorry you have no TS credits left":scared1:
I said "that's impossible, I planned it all out"...
It took over an hour to straighten it out...:headache: :furious:
We ended up in a crummy spot behind a tree for Illuminations because it took so long.
They finally found that Typhoon Tilly's used TS credits that afternoon instead of CS...I guess I didn't check my receipt close enough..I usually did. :sad2:

That was the only bummer, everything else worked out great.
Restaurants we all pretty good, good lunches, great use of snacks...more than enough food for the week.

If anyone plans on going to Typhoon Tilly's...CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!
 
Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you!!!! Thanks for the heads up. Glad that you enjoyed the rest of your trip though. I'm actually leaving in 4 days and am on the DXDP and plan on going to the waterparks. So i'll be sure to check if we go to Typhoon Tillys.
 
Sorry that happened to you. When we were on the dining plan I was neurotic about checking my receipts after every meal because I was afraid of a mix up like that.
 
This kind of happen to me - but it was my fault. I didn't know Sci-fi lunch was a TS. Ended up spending $60 for our last meal - cause that's when I found out. lol
 

I'm surprised that happened-I can't believe that TT could even use a TS credit. I'll make sure to check my receipts. Actually, we had a situation 2 years ago when I failed to check my receipt. This happened on our last night, dining at Narcoossee's. I didn't notice until we returned to POP that we had been charged for 6 TS instead of the 4 we used. (we shared a meal). This would have caused a big problem on our last meal, which was breakfast at PF in the a.m. I needed 3 TS and only had 1 left. As soon as I noticed the error, I called Narcoossee's to resolve it. Unfortunately, they were closed by then. The CM who I spoke to at GF said I could resolve it in the a.m. at Guest Services at POP. So, while I was packing and getting ready in the a.m. I sent my DM to handle it (and get a luggage cart). She said it was no problem, but I'm glad I noticed it before we had our last meal at PF.

So, that's why I now make sure I check my receipts, before I leave the TS (or CS). Sorry you had a problem :confused3 , glad it was resovled though.
 


Last May Markeesh (sp) used an adult instead of a child and used an extra adult. So instead of using 2 adults and 1 child they used 4 adults!! Sci-fi caught it and let us wait in our car during a busy time until the manager rectified it. They were incredible about fixing it for us!! Check you reciepts each and everytime. ;)
 
Thanks for the heads up! I didn't even think that something like that could happen, but I will definitely be eyeballing my receipts from now on!
 
When we went in 06, that happened to us too - we went for dinner at 'ohanas and we didn't have enough credits - turns out that POP had charged us two TS for the hot dog baskets we'd had the day before for lunch.

It took over and hour to fix too!

Now I check over those receipts with a fine comb!
