Typhoon Lagoon

I checked the website and I thought It said that Typhoon Lagoon would be open and Blizzard Beach would be on REHAB? Is this info correct? Up until now I thought it would be the other way around?

BB is currently closed and is scheduled to re-open on Christmas Day. Then TL will go down.

That's the way I've seen it listed all along...

Sweeeeeeet!!! Well last year we completely missed Typhoon Lagoon just cause we were exhausted on the day before we had 2 leave. So I asked my daughter what she wanted 2 do and of course she said "Let's go 2 MK!" So I was hoping this year it would be open since we skipped it last year!
Blizzard Beach was kool! Summet Plummet, wow!! That was something else! Did it once but probably wouldn't do it again. Fun, but scary!!

Any suggestions on must do's at Typhoon Lagoon??

I love the Surf Pool....fun for everyone. The storm slides were fun too. My DD14 loves Humunga Cowabunga and the 3 raft slides. She tried Crush n Gusher last year and like that too. For just relaxing, there's always Castaway Creek which lets you float around the park. Have fun!

Just went to Typhoon lagoon about 2 weeks ago and my dd did the surfing lessons in the morning. She had a great time. The class was really small and everyone got alot of chances to surf. It was nice going into the park when it was empty, and luckily it was very warm that weekend.

Do the new water rollercoaster, whose name I can't recall right now. Real cool!

DO any of the slides there compare to Summet Plummet? Or are they less ferocious? Don't get me wrong? Summet was awesome, And I can at least say i experienced it! As for another round I dooooooooon't know. I prefer the seat belt aspect of rides that fast!! ha!
