Typhoon Lagoon-Scuba lesson?

Hi. I read in my new passporter 2003 edition for WDW that guests can for $20.00, have a brief lesson in scuba. Has anyone out there done this? The passporter says it is 20.00 then 15.00 for the rest of your party or repeat dives. It states nothing about rental equipment. Thanks.

I hadn't heard this. I called Disney and was told that surfing lessons, only, were given at Typhoon Lagoon.

At this point in time if you are certified in scuba diving you can participate in Dive Quest at Epcot, but that is the only scuba diving information I could find.

Perhaps some of our veterans know more about this.
