Typhoon Lagoon - refillable mug

If you purchase a refillable mug at Typhoon Lagoon, is it good if you go back another day? Do they still have bar codes on them? How does this work?
How much are they now?

When you enter the park, and at several locations throughout the park, you'll have the chance to buy a plastic "All-Day Sports Bottle." Like the refillable mug program at the Disney resorts, this mug may be refilled at soft drink stations as often as you wish for the duration of your visit. The mug costs $9.99 including tax and may be refilled with soft drinks only at Typhoon Tilly's, Leaning Palms, Surf Doggies, Let's Go Slurpin' and Lowtide Lou's (seasonal).

They sell you a new barcode at a reduced price from what the mug costs. We bought one three years ago and bring it back each trip.

Last November, the price of the new barcode was $6. You need the new barcode for each day you visit.

I never saw the "sports bottle" for sell but the mug ($9.99)was really neat last summer. It had the crush'n gusher on it . in fact i am sipping a rum and coke out of it now and thinking of Disney

Oh good! We leave in 4 days and I had already packed out TL mug, but wasn't sure if they were still doing the program like they were 2 years ago.

Not sure what they look like now, but WAY back in '97, it was one of those big sports bottles, and the best part was that you could get icee/slushies in it as well as soft drinks. Our kids refilled that so many times with blue slushie I lost count! LOL

They also have apple juice in some of the soda dispensers but i didnt see slushies last summer
