Typhoon Lagoon Question

Hi everyone. Hubby and I will be going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time. I was just curious if there's a place a where we can keep our stuff or if it's safe if we leave it on a chair? For example I'm thinking like my flip flops and bathing suit coverup. Now that there's magic bands I guess we will leave our wallets in the room. Also do we need to bring towels with us or are they provided there? TIA. :beach:

I wouldn't worry one second about leaving shoes and coverups on a chair. We always bring our own beach towels but I believe they do rent towels there, they are not provided free of charge. They do have a LARGE selection of beach towels for sale and could make a nice (and planned) souvenir.

the magic bands are waterproof! plus, you may need them to get in the park. the best i can recall the flippies and coverup should be okay. towels??? i think they are provided at TL.

They have lockers for rent for valuables (like cell phones). You won't want to leave anything valuable on your chair, but I think it's safe to leave things like flip flops, bottled water, and sunscreen there. People who are looking to steal stuff are looking for valuables like money and cell phones.

You can rent towels for $2 each. Or you can bring towels from your hotel room, but then you'll need to bring wet towels back to your room. I know another poster recommended buying beach towels at the water park, but I never have enough room in my luggage going home for that! I just rent towels.

Don't forget your waterproof sunscreen (very expensive to buy at the waterpark!). I use Coppertone Sport Spray, it really stays on in the water. And bring some sort of water shoes, the pavement can get really hot.

I like the idea of a souvenir towel. I guess I'm just worried about leaving my flip flops and coverup and then come back to nothing.

Thanks for the heads up about the water shoes. I don't want to burn my footsies. Lol. I believe that's the sunscreen we bought. I'll have to double check but I'm glad to hear it stays on. hubby is very fair and don't want him burning.
