We were able to book a "Premium" Beachcomber Shack (the only category available to book for the day we want) for our June visit but the cast member didn't seem very knowledgable about it... except that it has seating for 8 instead of 6. Can't seem to find many recent information about Beachcomber Shacks - anyone with recent experience can share what the set up is like? What's included? Is the space bigger than the standard or do they just squeeze in 2 extra seats?

I believe refillable mugs are included. Can the mug be used at the resorts too? Or only at Typhoon Lagoon?

Do they keep the water replenished throughout the day?

We'll be celebrating a graduation - will they do any type of decorations for celebrations?

This will be our first time to Typhoon Lagoon so super excited!

How much was the premium shack if you don't mind me asking?

Yes refillable mugs should be included

Our attendant brought us more water when we asked

We rent the reglar shacks everytime we go and I have never seen one decorated but that doesn't mean they one if asked........for a price of course!!!

$456.89 after taxes. Was told no AP, DVC discounts. It's the Premium one without a TV. It seats 8 vs 6.

Think the standard was around $80 cheaper. The cast member was throwing out #s so quickly so didn't have a chance to write them all down.

The refillable mugs are just for Typhoon, at least prior to covid.

Reddog21, Do you have any information/pictures regarding the numbering of the shacks you have rented in the past? I'm hoping to get one near the wave pool, possibly with a semi private Umbrella also. They don't seem to take requests, but I would like to suggest a certain number--from Youtube videos I believe the ones I want are in the 5-10 range. Thanks for any info/pictures you can offer!

I see that with the shacks, you also have "personal attendant that will go get food for you"... Do you choose from the regular menus at the quick service places? Or do they have a different menu for the shacks?

We have one booked this summer. I've been doing some research. This is the menu I found.

Here's the back of the current menu to what the PP posted above, FWIW.

I have on occasion had luck with a CM offering to pick up items from other park restaurants, mainly ones where you can mobile order and they'll go pick it up - but that's not that common and most will say you have to stick to the menu. Fortunately as you see in the food menu above they have FINALLY put "a la carte" items on the menu... for years it has only been those platters which are terrible wastes for smaller groups (in my opinion).

Enjoy your water park day!

We have a premium one booked for memorial weekend so I will report back. I requested the one with a refrigerator because we have food allergies in our party and are going bring their own food.
