Typhoon Lagoon in mid April???

Has anyone out there ever been to a water park in April? Was it a little chilly being in water all day that time of year? We're trying to decide if we should include a water park in our schedule for our upcoming short trip in April. We've done the water parks in August, which was great, but not sure if a whole day of "water" would feel that good in April. Please help! Thanks!

We went to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach last April (Easter week). The weather and water temps were great. Pretty sure the wave pool @ TL is heated. I remember the water on a lot of the slides felt a little chillier, but that was probably from standing in line in the shade. The weather was high 70's, so you're not going to get hot unless you sit in the sun for a bit. But we did a full day at TL and a full day at BB and I don't remember feeling chilled. It was nice not to be sweating!

If you're a fan of the waterparks then I vote for working a BB or TL day in.

All of the attractions at both water parks, except for Shark Reef at TL which has live fish, are kept heated to the low 80's all year round.

Last year we went to TL the first week of April. It was great. The day we went it rained in the morning, we had brunch then headed over,
ended up being a super day to go as there were little to no waits for any slides.

Two comments:

1. We actually didn't buy our WP tickets until the day of, as we weren't sure of the weather.
So didn't have to worry about the expense until we were sure we would use them.

2. The water parks close earlier in the spring so be sure to know the park hours so that you can make the most of the park.
