No that is what we thought too. 6 are allowed with the cost then over 6 people you have to pay a fee when you get there. It was $25 a person when we were there in August.
It was about $350 for 6 people. You get water bottles, ice in a cooler, refillable mugs, a locker, 6 chairs, towels and someone to pick up lunch for you and bring you anything that you need.

I agree with everything said so far.
We bring water shoes everytime - the concrete can get VERY hot and is a nightmare to walk/stand on & the one time in my life I didn't bring a pair I ended up getting a small stone embedded in my sole... In general you will be asked to take them off at the top of body slides and hold them as you go down, but you can keep them on innertube slides.
We also always bring sunglasses & have never had a problem keeping wearing them on any slide or attraction, just be sure you don't loose them (or you MB, make sure that sucker is on tight) at the bottom of a slide or else the CMs will have to close the slide while they retrieve your item (saw this happen a lot last trip)!
My tip is to bring your own waterproof band aids, we have never had a trip without an incident on the rough pool bottoms! And it's easier to have your own rather than tracking down a CM.
We always bring a change of clothes (great changing facilities) and our own towels. We use Disney transportation and the air con can be wicked at times, especially if your wet, so we dry off as much as possible and keep the towels out to wrap around us if we get cold.
TL is more relaxing (though it does have great slides too) & BB has more fast-paced adventurous slides so is more popular with energetic kids.
