I've read through these great threads and FAQs:thumbsup2 but wondered if anyone had any up to date information. Surely:confused3Disney has seen the light and decided to release carb counts to families with ADRs who request this even just a few days in advance. Does anyone know anything?

Thank you!

nothing. Isnt' that sad???
I usually just go with the my calorie king book and the USDA's nutrition list downloaded onto my palm.

you've seen the badshoe's page on disney with diabetes right? http://allears.net/pl/diabetes.htm

I have never been able to get carb counts of food at Disney-

I too have calorie king info with me-

sadly enough -I asked for where to get dairy free information on foods or where to get dairy free foods at the parks and was emailed back sorry we don't have that info...can't help you- can't tell you where to get dairy free foods...

When it was just Brenda it was so much better:(

Yes, I've seen this and can't balieve you can't get Dairy Free either.

I spoke to the chef at Chef Mickey's yesterday. He said it was a liability issue, which actually sorta made sense. He said they were chefs, not dietitians. OK...

I can't believe they cannot provide the dairy info - at least general info on products that are safe. I requested info on peanut/treenut/shellfish and they sent me a general allergen document with safe foods for many allergies including lists of things that are dairy/lactose free. The document is called: Food Allergy Dietary Reference Sheet.

I have some specific questions and they were answered by Brenda - so she is indeed still there at that allergy office and sending out info.:thumbsup2

I know that they are sending info from different people these days- I email brenda and get these:(

Below is part of an email I just got back when asking about Dairy free foods:

Thank you for inquiring about how WALT DISNEY WORLD® handles special dietary requests. We now have special dietary information on our website at the following link.

We do not have a dairy free list at this time. ( Italics are mine:)
