Ty Pennington arrested

Everybody has heard about the misfortune Ty ran into last saturday morning, and since then several fans have expressed worry about him and his position as show host on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Some people are worried that ABC might fire him over this. We as Ty fans can't let that happen. I have started a petition for ABC against firing Ty from the show.



Despite his actions, he is still considered by many to be a True American Hero, and its going to take a lot more than a DUI to change that.

No offense, feel bad for the guy and all, but maybe you can enlighten me as to why you feel he is an American Hero? Great host, yes...but Hero? Was he enlisted?

I agree. If you have been drinking then you shouldn't drive. I never alluded to the fact that what he did was okay.

I have lost respect for him doing this and thank God that he didn't hurt anyone.

I think he's a true American Hero because he stands up and defends a part of American life that is very symbolic to the United States and what it stands for. He defends the dreams of others to own a home. That is the American Dream, to own a home where one can live happily with their family. In each episode Ty and the design team fight for others who have been denied that dream because of various reasons, such as financial troubles or members with physical or mental handicaps. That's what I meant. I'm just a fan trying to express my opinion, and my opinion is that after everything he's done for so many families across America, he shoudn't lose the ability to do that just because he made a mistake.
