Ohana
After our afternoon of swimming and resting we headed to Ohana for dinner. We had an early 5pm reservation.

We were taken to our table and along the way our host picked up the Ohana Welcome Bread:
I really wish this was served with some type of butter sweet butter. It would be amazing but with out the butter it is just plane pineapple bread.
We were taken to our table and we had a window seat with this amazingly beautiful view:
I know it is just wooden building planks and vegetation but I felt it was beautiful and added to our dinner ambiance.
Next they brought out the Mixed Greens Salad with Lilikoi dressing.
I didn't try the salad or the bread because I save room for the other foods that are served at this dinner. My family stated the bread needs butter and my husband ate the salad. He said, it was better than he expected since the change but he misses the other salad dressing from the past.
They also bring out the sauces with the salad.
This is a peanut and sweet and sour sauce. I really enjoy the meats dipped in these sauces. So good but I am a sauce girl, the more the better.
Next, we received the Pork Dumplings with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings.
I can make a meal out of these, so good. I love to dip the dumplings in the sweet and sour sauce and the chicken wings were fab. I have always loved these two items at Ohana and I could make a meal out of just these 2 lovely yum yums!
At the same time our server brought out the wings and dumplings, the server dropped off the noodles tossed in teriyaki sauce and the stir-fried vegetables.
I really enjoyed the noodles, in fact, I ate almost all of the portion that was brought to us. We didn't try the stir fried vegetables. We were saving room for everything else we were eating so no review on those.
Then the meats started to make their way to us.
Szechuan Sirloin Steak
We asked for well-done, and received well-done. I didn't eat any but my family said it was tender and delicious, they also said the sauce really made the steak taste better than they remember in the past.
Next up is the Char-Sui pork loin:
I was surprised this was tender and had a very nice taste to it. I enjoyed it but pork is not my favorite.
My favorite was the grilled chicken skewer, I am a chicken fan and I love to find a nice tender flavorful piece of chicken and Ohana did not disappoint me here. There was a sauce on the chicken and it was very good.
We didn't try the Spicy grilled peel and eat shrimp, so we have zero pictures or reviews. My husband is allergic and I detest peel and eat shrimp, I hate to peel it. Aaron will eat peel and eat shrimp but passed it up this night.
While we were eating our waiter dropped off these lovely warm towels to wash our hands with.
Dessert at Ohana is the Ohana Bread Pudding a la mode topped with Caramel sauce and Bananas.
I did not eat dessert, this is too sweet for my taste but Shawn and Aaron ate it and Shawn declared it was good as always.
Allison surprisingly doesn't like the bread pudding so she always asks for ice cream.
Our server brought her vanilla with mickey sprinkles and she loved it as usual.
Overall we had a wonderful meal at Ohana, everything was hot and fresh. We were a little worried because of the changes. I didn't find I missed the third sauce and I like the changes that were made to the meats. My husband did miss the old salad but said the new one was good.
So we still recommend Ohana!
