I have two sets of tickets in MDE account. Both are registered to me. The first is a six day park hopper with no expiration linked to a magic band. The second is a two day park hopper with one fun day admission card that I bought through the Disney conference site since I am attending a conference in June. The admission card is listed second in MDE. The conference is offsite at the Orange County Conference Center and I am staying the Orlando Hilton

When go to my conference in June, I will only be bringing my admission card. Do you think the FP+ reservations I made will be seen on the card even though the card is listed second on MDE?

You need to prioritize your tickets so the system doesn't go to the first ticket it sees. Guest Relations can do it. Check to make sure what was used before you leave.

I believe you can also deactivate the ticket you do not want used.

Any media - cards or MagicBands - linked to the same MDE become interchangeable. There is no functional difference between a MagicBand and a plastic card for park admission and FastPass+ if they're linked to the same MDE account profile.

You'll want to get your tickets prioritized, like HopperFan posted, so that the wrong one doesn't get used - just because correcting usage after the fact is a pain in the butt. Any ticket booth at any park, or Guest Relations at any park or Disney Springs can do it.

That said: Which ticket gets used has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not your FastPass+ reservations will work. If they're on the same MDE, they'll work on either the MagicBand OR the plastic card, even if you were to use a totally different un-linked ticket to get into the park.

The system will always go to the first appropriate ticket, right? Like if you had a 1 day MK and 1 day EP/HS/AK it would pick the right one for the park you're at, right? It would scan until it finds the right one? With either a ticket or MB? Just making sure

In the precise case you just stated...
If there are two or more tickets in the MDE, but only one will be the "appropriate ticket" to use at a given gate, the system can only choose the correct ticket.

But, in MOST cases, multiple tickets could be nearly interchangeable.
So, unless the guest has the tickets set for priority of use, the "system" could pick randomly, and it could choose the wrong one.

Example:
Two sets of MagicYourWay tickets-
One with Hopper Option.
One without Hopper Option.
Guest must have the priority set so that the "next" ticket used at the gate will be the correct one.

Thanks. If there were two of 1 type of ticket like 1 day EP/HS/AK would it matter which one was selected first? (all bought before the increase this year). I still really don't understand about prioritizing and how you're supposed to do that

We learned this the hard way............tickets must be prioritized. We just "assumed" that the system would use the ticket that would be expiring, rather than one that had not yet been used. It is a pain to correct it later, and we were told that it can't always be corrected. "Prioritizing" was something we hadn't heard about before until our last trip. You can bet we will pay attention to it now.

Thanks.

2. I still really don't understand about prioritizing and how you're supposed to do that

1. If you have two of the "same ticket," then it doesn't matter about the priority.

2. Don't get caught up in how to do it.
If you have any doubt, all you need to do is just stop by a Guest Relations at some time BEFORE you go to the park and tell the CM to which park you are going NEXT. The CM will put the correct ticket at the top priority.

Any mistake that is due to Disney's poor design of their "system" (like this ridiculous need for guests to know to "prioritize" their tickets) CAN be corrected by Disney.

However much "pain" it is (and it very well might be a "pain") is only happening because
they did not build the system to handle the many, many, MANY different ticket situations that guests can experience.

Thanks. From what you said before it doesn't seem like the last thing you said should be necessary. I'll be going with some relatives who have 1 MK ticket and 1 EP/HS/AK ticket, it should pick the right one at the entrance from what you said earlier. Other relatives have 1 MK ticket and 2 EP/HS/AK tickets, I assume it'd be ok in that case without prioritizing too from what you said

Yes, to all of that.
