1. I tried to install the toolbar but my Norton gave me 2-3 malware warnings. I clicked 'no thanks' on several of the extra add ons that the toolbar tried to install. Now I'm not sure if I have the toolbar--I don't see it, but I'm also concerned about forcing my computer to install it. Anyone else have malware/virus concerns with the Swagbucks toolbar?

2. One of the current SB bonuses is 1000 points if you register a credit card (MC or Visa) and then use that card at Old Navy. Has anyone registered a card to earn Swagbucks by shopping at an actual store? I had already planned to shop at Old Navy this month as I have "cash" I earned at Christmas. ($30 off a $75 purchase.) Seems to me I could get that store discount and earn Swagbucks. Is this a good idea to register a credit card?

I've had the toolbar since they introduced it and have never had a problem with security. I have had problems installing it on other computers/laptops though. It will say that my system does not support it even though I have all the system requirements.

As for the Old Navy offer, I have not used it myself - the closest ON is 2 hours away (crazy I know!) - but have heard of others that have and got their points with no issues.

my sister used to use Swagbucks and got a virus so bad she had to pay quite a bit of money to get rid of it. Tech indicated that Swagbucks (especially videos) could have been what caused the problem. Sis is very careful about the sites she goes to but no way to know for sure where the virus came from. She did have the toolbar installed

I have done the local offer for Petsmart (registered our credit card & bought more than $25 at Petsmart) and it credited immediately after purchase. I haven't tried Old Navy yet. Good luck!

I don't do offers unless they are free. I do have swagbucks toolbar on my computer. Do have pay attention when installing it make sure don't add anything else.

I run my programs for anti-virus and malware once or twice a week to make sure everything clean.
