Two room better than one?

Wow.. Thank you ALL so much for the wonderful responses, what a great Forum! I will contact my TA to see what the price would be like for 2 connecting staterooms with Ocean View. I will report back on what the family decides on.. You guys are wonderful!

just got off the phone with my TA, so looks like for the same price, i have options of 2 connecting ocean view rooms on deck 8 (front of ship), one deck 8 deluxe oceanview with Verandah mid ship, or 2 connecting inside stateroom deck 8 mid ship. I'm torn because i would love to take the deck 8 ocean view, but my family is prone to motion sickness, do you all think that is a bad position of the ship to be in for folks with motion sickness?

the last option would cost more, about $2000K more, and that would be for deck 8 midship 2 connecting oceanview room with balcony. not sure if it's worth it.

what do you all think?

You liked the inside staterooms as well? no issues not seeing the ocean or having natural night?
We took a 7-night NYE cruise last year out of Galveston on the Wonder that we booked much later than we would normally have booked a DCL cruise. In order to make it affordable, I opted for 2 connecting inside rooms. I would have preferred 2 connecting OV rooms, but that was simply not affordable. In fact, the cruise cost a bit less than the EC cruise we took last June on the Fantasy for 2 connecting OV rooms.

I missed having a port hole, but none of us had any problems with the inside rooms. Going in, I was a bit concerned about anxiety issues and not being able to look out a window, but I had no issues whatsoever. I slept very well in the inside room.

The cruise was fantastic and the weather at CC, Key West, and Nassau was wonderfu! It was a matter of 2 inside rooms or no cruise at all, and I was very pleased with the inside rooms.

What about two oceanview midship on deck 2? That should be an option as well. A lot of people like deck 2 for its convenience for the atrium and restaurants. And getting on the elevators for the higher deck never seems to be an issue on deck 2.

I'm prone to motion sickness and have stayed aft mid and forward and have never had a problem with motion sickness. I've never been able to feel a difference.
