Hello! I am heading back to WDW with my boyfriend in late July/early August of this year. I am still over 100 days away from my FP booking window, but I like to stress myself out make plans way ahead of time. I need your help with making a decision... or two.

I have two days planned for Epcot during our trip: One half-day on our arrival day and one full day towards the end of our trip. Here are the FP+ plans I have for each day:

Arrival day: Test Track, Mission Space, and Spaceship Earth
Full day: Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and .... ?

I don't know whether I should book Living with the Land or the Character Meet Spot for my third FP. Normally, I would book LWTL no doubt. Here's where my decision gets a little tricky...

We have a breakfast reservation at Garden Grill the morning of our full day at Epcot. EMH that day are from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and our reservation is at 9:35 a.m. Our plan is to run head to Soarin at rope drop and ride it before breakfast. Would we be able to ride Living with the Land after Soarin in that one hour window before our reservation? If so, I guess I could use my third FP for the Character Meet Spot (even though we will be meeting Mickey at GG...) I know I don't want to waste use a FP on Journey Into Imagination or on Turtle Talk.

Would it be impossible to ride both Soarin and Living with the Land within one hour when the park opens? Let me know if any of you have experienced EMH at Epcot with these rides! :earboy2:

You could likely ride living with the land more than once if you wanted. If you get to the park before emh start you'll likely be off Soarin with 20 min or so

Best plan - fp 9:00 lwtl even if you do not use it. Then FP Nemo 10 & FEA at 11 - try to be at FEA at 10:55 and tap in. That way you get to your 4th FP as soon as possible and can possibly get TT or Soarin as your 4th FP.

As soon as you tap the FEA at 10:55, start trying to get your 2nd tier 1 of TT or Soarin.

This will be difficult with a 9:35 GG ADR. Best case scenario, they're out of GG at 10:30. I don't think they can be out of Nemo and all the way over to FEA in 25 min. And being done at GG at 10:30 is not likely. I'd expect 10:45-11:00 to be more likely.

It's still a good plan, but I'd push the Nemo to 10:15 and then FEA to 11:15

No - you want that 3rd as close to 11:00 as possible. So long as they are at RD, then they will prob be done with Soarin & LWTL by 9:15 at the latest. It might help to check in 10-15 minutes early to GG, but even then you will be fine to get to Nemo and head to FEA even if you don’t get there and tap that first turnstile until 11:05 or so. And make sure that you start searching for that 4th FP while in line for FEA - the earlier the better.

I had no trouble getting Test Track and Soarin' as a 4th FP (and 5th and 6th) for a large group over spring break, and I didn't even start looking until after 1:00. I don't think OP needs to fret about what time she starts looking for her 4th FP. Don't rush-- enjoy the ADR!

OP-- I think your plan to do Soarin' then LwtL and use the last FP for CS is a good one. Have fun!

You'll be able to do both of them at RD. Soarin will be a pretty short wait and there shouldn't really be any wait for LWTL at all.

A data point: last December I went to Epcot (solo) and did 4 rides within around 100 minutes: FEA (rope drop), living with the land, the seas with Nemo and journey into imagination.

We rope dropped Soarin during Christmas week this year followed by lwtl and we were the only riders on out ltw boat. Shouldn’t be an issue to do both before breakfast.
