From today's (Jul 27) Orlando Sentinel Dining Review column

It was so long ago that I told you the major overhaul of the Contemporary Resort would include the addition of a new restaurant on one of the lower floors. Word on the street is that the restaurant will be called The Wave and will have an underwater motif. Let's go out on a limb here and predict a seafood specialty. Less obvious is the wine list, which I hear will be almost entirely Australian.

Central Florida almost lost a celebrity chef recently. Wolfgang Puck tells me he was so put off with the quality of the food that is being served at Wolfgang Puck Cafe that he came close to demanding that his name be removed. WPC is owned by Levy Restaurants, which used to have a reputation for good food at its other restaurants, which include the once-wonderful but now unrecommendable Fulton's Crab House. Puck still has creative control over the restaurant and is working with the chefs to up the quality. Stay tuned.

Yay Wolfgang! It's good to see a celebrity chef take some responsibility for the food being served in his name.

I guess I don't have to be sad that I've never been to Fulton's :rolleyes1 ...

agnes!

We ate at Wolfgand Puck Express in DTD and were very surprised at the high quality of the food! The service stunk, as the tables were dirty and seats hard to come by, but for the price of a counter service meal, it was a great alternative to the hamburgers we end up eating during most of our WDW visits.

Interesting.
I assume the "Wave" will be Disney operated(?).
And tho Fultons is certainly unrecommendable, it never was wonderful.

But that is Scott Joseph for you. He used to rave about the long-gone Juan and Only's:rotfl:

..........we would certainly never refer to Fultons as unrecommendable. Always get a decent meal there........:confused3
