Two reservations at one time

Does Disney still have the rule that you can't have two reservations in your name at the same time? I ask because I currently have a timeshare exchange for a full week at OKW, but we kind of want to do a split stay. I don't know if I can actually get them to shorten my exchange week, so I would need to have two reservations simultaneously. Any way to do this? want to do two nights at the treehouses.

If you are doing a cash booking there is no problem at all. I can’t speak for points booking.

Can confirm this for cash bookings. I've held ghost reservations that start earlier and overlap my "actual" one for purposes of getting earlier access to dining and other experience reservations many times.

Sometimes when you have two rooms at the same time the keys to the room can get messed up. When I got married at Disney my husband booked another room for the night before the wedding but was also on our week long room. I think he had to stop at the front desk to get it sorted out and had some issues throughout the week where it wouldn’t work and had to have his band reprogrammed
