Hi. I was just wondering if there is any place to watch Illuminations outside of Epcot since we will only be there the first half of the day... I figured I'd ask because I know you can see Wishes from a couple other places. My second question is about fireworks in DTD- I read that there is a nightly fireworks show at Pleasure Island? Is there a good place to watch from without going in? (We will have our son with us). I'm just looking for a little Magic on our non-park days. Thanks!

You really need to be in Epcot to get the full effect and storyline of Illuminations. There are places over by teh BW resort that offer decent viewing of the higher fireworks.

As far as PI, the fireworks are at midnight, and really nothing spectacular. Not worth staying up for if you aren't there to begin with.

Thanks, it doesn't sound worth it to watch Illuminations if you can't see it all. Can you see the PI fireworks from anywhere in DTD? I'm not sure if we'll be there that late, but if we happen to be, might as well see them. Our son goes to bed between 10(most nights) and 12 (weekends/ special occasions), so if we're all having a good time, theres no need to rush out of there and get him to bed.
