Two Probably Easy Questions

I have recently booked our first DVC vacation, so these are probably easy questions to those who have been there, done that.

1 - If my parents will be going to WDW the same time as us, but staying at a different resort, can I correctly assume that they cannot come and use the pool at BLT? Could we hop to their pool or can we only hop to other DVC resort pools?

2 - Can we bring them up to the TOTWL or no because they are not sharing the room with us?

1 - no they can't. You can hop to their pool w/in the normal pool hopping rules (no Stormalong Bay, not during blackout periods).

2 - probably not, it's for DVC members staying @ BLT, but I'm guessing this one is more a your mileage may vary thing, depending on who's staffing the check point.

But those are the rules for both items.

If you can add them to your BLT reservation without going over occupancy, they can do all the things you want even if they stay somewhere else.

Unfortunately, we cannot add them. We are already 4+1 under 3 in a 1 bedroom and they are 2 more. I don't think it will be that big of a deal, I just wanted to make sure I was thinking the right way.

They asked to see all our room keys before we were placed in the elevator to go up to the lounge.
