We'll be taking our infant daughter to Disney for her first birthday in a couple weeks and I just realized I might have made our ressies wrong... we booked most for three. Us two adults and the baby. Although she won't be eating a meal of her own, and possibly sitting in a lap sometimes, should we have booked them for 2 instead of 3?
We did make one ressie for two the night of MNSSHP because that's all that was available and we plan to have her on our lap and eat fairly quickly (The Plaza). I'm just unsure what Disney would prefer or if booking for 3 is rude... or if booking for 2 is out of place... what have you done in the past?

Three. All persons are counted regardless of their age. Has nothing to do with space and everything to do with capacity of the restaurant under fire codes.

The Plaza is not generally a restaurant that fills to capacity, but if it does, and you have booked for two and show up with three, you may not be seated with the third person, even if it's an infant.

A one year old is pretty big, I doubt you would want her on your lap the entire time. She'll probably be better in a high chair so I would definitely book a table for 3.
