Two nights...party of 7 where would you book??

OKW???? OR AKV Kidani standard view???

We are going back to Disney in Aug. We will have a party of 7. My dh, myself, dd 22, her bf 22, ds 19, his gf 19 and our ds 14. We have rented a 4 br villa off site for 8 nights LOL No really ...we don't mind. We rented a place at Windsor Hills last spring break and loved it for the space with a large party of 8. Anyway.....we are going to stay 2 nights DVC before moving off site. I am thinking OKW.....2 br. We love OKW but then I got to thinking about the 2 br at AKV Kidani having that 3rd bathroom. THEN AGAIN..it is just 2 nights so we can probably make do without that 3rd bathroom. It will cost 85 points for AKV and 88 for OKW. So no big point difference.

I am leaning more towards OKW but just wanted some opinions. THANKS

P.S. Our oldest son....he would like to stay at BCV but those points are 115 and the Sat. night is not available in a dedicated 2br.

I would book OKW for the larger villa. A third bathroom is nice but as you said it's only 2 nights.

I would definitely go for Kidani. It's such a totally unique experience. You really feel as if you've been transported to an African savanna.

If you will be visiting the parks on those days I would book OKW. If those will be resort days I would book AKV.

This is just me...but I would try to get Boardwalk Standard View.

Its in the point range of OKW, is convenient to Epcot and the Studios, and might please your son...unless he was looking for SAB. Then, it might be torture.

It sounds like you have vehicles since your switching to off-site, for this reason alone, I'd pick OKW. I love being able to park so close to your unit, it's so convenient. It's also so quiet and peaceful there.

That's a good point for any DVC...besides Kidani. In Kidani, you take the nearest elevator down to your car, where your car is covered, cool and dry , waiting for you to jump in the "underground" parking.

I would choose AKV because it is so unlike any other resort.
