Question...
three weeks ago I purchased two Platinum passes at the DVC rate of $679 each before tax. They haven't been activated yet. Any chance I can go to guest services and get an upgrade to the Platinum Plus pass AND a refund of $120/ticket?![]()
I called member services and they said I could, but it sounds too good to be true, so I thought I would ask the experts!

I had purchased 5 Platinum Plus passes back in February ($729 each) that I haven't yet activated. Someone in another thread suggested calling Disney Ticketing at 407-566-4985 opt 5. When I did, they effectively refunded the original purchase and reissued new Platinum Plus APs at the discounted rate, refunding me $905. Originally DVC MS told me to do it face to face at the gate, but I wanted to try calling, and the phone call worked. I just asked for a price adjustment and they went right ahead and did it, no fuss.
