I watched. What an excellent show. The older boy, Stephen, is so amazing for a 14 yo. He's more mature than most grown men that I know. I hope he has his dream of going to college.

The house that they built was so perfect for this family. It was just the right size for them to easily care for. I'm glad they didn't do one of those mega 3 stories houses that they've done in the past.

My DH and I cried all the way through it. What an amazing family. Stefan is certainly a wonderful boy. His parents must be VERY proud of him. We are in the Detroit area, so we have been anxiously awaiting the airing of this episode - it was worth the wait!!!!

Kudos to ABC and everyone involved in this great program!!!

I was in awe of the oldest son. What a compassionate young man. He could easily have been resentful of the burdens placed on him at such a young age, but he handles it with maturity and grace.

I'm glad that they recognized that by providing for the special needs of his parents and brother, they're freeing him to pursue his interests.

What a great episode!

Great story. I especially liked how the older son didn't even know how to react to his room, because he's put so much weight on the happiness of others (over his own) in the past.

I happened to come across this show last night while clicking through the channels. I caught the last 1/2 hr or so and I was crying! What a wonderful family...the older son was amazing and so deserving of the room, the scholarship, etc. The security of having the monitors and lights to keep track of the autistic son will help that family so much! I especially liked the room they built for him...taking into consideration the needs of an autistic child. What a great show!!!
