My husband really likes the Japanese pavillion. Japan kinda holds a special place in his heart. A long, long time ago in a city far, far away, my husband began working for a Japanese owned company. They chose two people to go to Japan for three months for a certain type of training. My husband was one of the two. However, he declined to go. What's the reason, you ask. Apparently, right smack dab in the middle of those three months he had a previous engagement that had taken ten months to plan. Any guesses? Here's a clue.
heh heh
At any rate, we made some great lifelong friends while he worked there. They want us to come to Japan and visit them and my dh really wants to make that happen, but for now he will have to settle for the Japan pavillion at Epcot. Practically the same thing, right?
We spend quite a bit of time at the Mitsukoshi Department Store and pick up lots of candy and trinkets for the kids. They love the little candies covered in rice paper cuz they think they're being funny by eating the paper.
RonStoppable strikes up a "conversation" with the gal working at the counter.
She giggles and looks surprised. What's so odd about a cowboy speaking Japanese? Don't they all?
I have now been married long enough to know zackly how much Japanese RonStoppable can speak, so I rescue him just as their conversation is about to come to an abrupt halt. He wishes her a good day and thanks me quietly under his breath. I figure it was the least I could do, since he gave up a chance to have a three month adventure in an exotic land and dashed his hopes of climbing the corporate ladder just so he could marry me. Makes us about even, dontchathink?
I glance at my cellphone. PJ must not be feeling well. I only have 24 texts from her. Maybe the napkin twirling is keeping her extra busy that evening. It is now time to head back to the non-boring country of Canada and have a nice relaxing meal.
Welllll, whaddya know. I have rambled on and on and we still aren't at Le Cellier.
How about this. Le Cellier was good. We left. We walked around. We went back to the hotel. We swam. The End? Is that what y'all want? I certainly wouldn't want to be accused of putting too many details in a TR. Not that I EVER have.
At least now I wont be bogged down by that hotT college chick. That's the only reason this TR has gone so slowly. I would have been done by now, but I'm trying to be polite and give her a chance to speak. But since she was off napking twirling and snatching Krispy Kremes from the back room and has nothing to add to this part of the TR, I will proceed with this in a timely manner.
