Two HotT College Chicks and a Cowboy Take on the World

Great update! I agree with Cel on the fabulous useage of ACK and beurk!!

Great report. Thanks for sharing.

Wheat Thins

Thanks. We will have more great reporting to come. I bet it will wow you.

Great update, bbn!

Thank you Mr. Wiggles.

I think that is only the third and fourth times I have seen that word used outside of the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song.

What can I say? I am super intelligent.

Um, where did you enter World Showcase? For most folks, coming from Future World, Mexico would be the first pavilion if you were going clockwise.

Ok, maybe not so much.

Great use of Ack and Beurk.
I approve.

TY, after all wonky is as wonky does. Don't try to sneak any smarminess into this TR. I just won't have it.

1. This is the funniest thing ever written.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

2. You two sound like so much fun.

1. It is

2. We are.

Love ya Phantom.

I know nothing.

I just thought this was worth repeating.

Harumphhh. I can't believe you didn't advertise that this update was posted!!!!!

(Or was I skimming and missed it?!)

bbn, I'm sure DTD will be impressed by your mad Caballeros naming skillz.

Peej, glad I'm not the only one who eats at a normal pace. My DH and DD inhale their food ;)

I didn't advertise. You didn't miss. consider me admonished and reprimanded.

p.s. MooHooty for snagging our 600th post!:yay:

Great update! I agree with Cel on the fabulous useage of ACK and beurk!!

Ty, tyverymuch. I even added wonky and smarmy just for y'all.

ZACKLY!!!! It's everyone else who eats super fast while we eat at a normal pace!!!!

I just thought this was worth repeating.
Consider yourself smacked. *smack* Don't make me bring the pinky out next time I see you....

Gosh, someone should really post another update on this thing. Oh. Wait. That'd be me. :rolleyes1

Hello? :cool2:

Anybody here?

Where oh where have all the threads gone?????? :confused3

Practically 'pee-worthy', I say!!!! :rotfl:

I have been thread-worthy, poll-worthy, signature-worthy, and even location-worthy but I think this it the first time I've been called pee-worthy.

DId y'all go on vacation or something? :confused3

yes. we will post when we return. This isn't really me posting. It's a figment of your imagination.

Hey, did I mention somewhere that Journey To Imagination was closed when we were there? Probably not, b/c I NEVER complain about anything.

ok, ok, ok. I might have to go on without my sidekick. What's next? Le Cellier, World Showcase, the OKW swimming pool slide, and our uncanny timing at MK.

Is this trip report an ongoing concern?

Wheat Thins

Thank you for gracing this TR with your presence even though you do not feel the need to read it.:snooty:

And yes, it is an ongoing concern for super intelligent people with keen senses of humor.

Maybe if you are lucky and the planets align, maybe just maybe, I will fire up THE photobucket account and add an installment today.

Keep your fingers crossed, grab some pins and needles, and scoot to the edge of your seat b/c you are about to be entertained? wowed beyond all imagination? enthralled? enraptured? amused? mildly amused? half-heartedly smiling at my ramblings? underwhelmed? unimpressed? uninspired? uninhibited? (I better stop there, since Lisa is reading, and we cant have her being any more uninhibited than she already is. )

I will ponder on my next post.

That's gotta win an award for the most accolades for a post we haven't even read yet. :rolleyes1

Can't wait for the update, though! :cool2:

Who are you? And why are you posting under LBelle's signon?

I have been interacting with my family this evening, but little ones are now in bed and big ones are playing video games, watching t.v., and the other adult in the household (YES! There are two!!!:snooty: ) has parked it on the couch for some bum laying and ESPN watching. I will probably be joining him shortly, but I said an update today and since today is nearly over, I dont have much time left.

My little blue TR notebook is becoming tattered and torn and the ink in my "Cars" pen is nearly dried up, I think it's time to put an end to this TR. Or perhaps I could at least make it through half a day with this post. On second thought, don't expect miracles people.

BTW PJ YOU CAN POST WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT. FEEL FREE TO JUST JUMP RIGHT IN. ANYTIME. REALLY. I WILL BE FINE WITH THAT. Whenever you are ready just whistle."You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together and blow." (PJ: That is a famous movie quote. You should know it. The actress who said it has your first name. p.s. do ya like my whistling smiley?)
innocent0009.gif

After I bid PJ adieu, I head back to the bench located near the "closed for refurbishment" Spaceship Earth. RonStoppable asks if I want to ride Mission Space.

"Really?!?!?" I ask excitedly

"Sure. I'll wait for ya." he replies. Lil smartastarstar.

I had already resigned myself to not riding it this trip anyway. I guess I could have rode with strangers, but I didn't feel like it. Plus, ds-12 now 13 (hey! he was 12 when we started this TR!) loves that ride and I just can't ride it without him being my co-pilot.

If you will recall, we have eary supper reservations at Le Cellier and decide to kill the next few hours in World Showcase.

Canada is soooo skipped, but only because we will be returning in a few hours. I certainly didn't mean to insinuate that it's boring or anything of that nature. We head straight to the United Kingdom. Ya know the country where, ELIZABETH is QUEEN. That has a certain ring to it, I must admit. United Kingdom is one of those countries in World Showcase that got gypped. There is no cool ride and no movie. I think the people of the UK, Morocco, Italy, and Germany should unite and demand to be properly represented in Epcot. "We be representin'. Yo" The least they could do is build a replica of the London Eye or sumpthin. Where's an imagineer when you REALLY need one? Maybe the Imagineers are still harboring ill will from that whole "Revolutionary War" incident. Maybe they are direct descendents of Paul Revere or Patrick Henry. It COULD happen people. Not everybody forgives and forgets these things. Sheesh. (or maybe they thought it already takes two days to make it through Epcot, let's not overwhelm our guests even more........nah. The other reason sounds more interesting.)

On a side note, RS does love their fish and chips. Seafood is not high on my priority list of foods, so I am more than happy to remind him that we need to keep movin' since we are eating soonishly.

We do stop for a quick pic at the International Gateway. Ta Da! Don't we look oh so fabulous in the 100 degree August humidity? My background is the French pavilion since I speak French..un peu, and my husbands background is Japan since he speaks Japanese...(however you say a little in Japanese)

Next stop France. Parlez-vous francais? The French pavilion is pretty cool, but the bakery is awesome. "Boulangerie Paitisserie" is definitely a must see. But we are going to be eating soon. And we are on the DDP! And I know that I can never finish all that food on the DDP!! But I want some French pastries!!! Because they taste like heaven and look like art work!!!! (Good thing no art critics are reading this TR. @@) This is an ACK!TMum-worthy moment if I have ever had one. RS tries to convince me to get a pastry. He even offers to split it with me. I DECLINE!!!????!!!!! I think the humidity finally got to me. This is NOT typical bbn behavior. My husband is convinced I'm feverish. We walk by and I lament "OMGosh, that smells so good".

He threatens to go in and buy one, but I stop him. I've never eaten at Le Cellier and I want to save room. Plus, I tell myself that we can always stop back by and get one later...like that ever happens.

*flashback* When I was a kid, my dad and I went in there to grab goodies for the rest of the family. There was this cute lil Parisian girl at the counter and she was flirting up a storm with him. I recall racing back to my mom and telling her all about it. She was laughing so hard at my shock and dismay over such a happening. And to this day, we still tease my dad about "Chantal". I think he kinda likes it though.;)

We step into "Plume Et Palette" so I can dab on super expensive perfume. Or is that parfum? Wait. I think perfume is better than parfum and eau de toilette is the cheapest of the three? Right? Of course, I am right. At any rate, I come out smelling better than a French uhhhh, ummmm, errrr, perfume shop?

The movie "Impressions de France" is mildly interesting and not quite twenty minutes long, but definitely a "skip it" if small, impatient children are in tow. or if large, impatient children are in tow. or any sized impatient children. or any size impatient adults for that matter. Look, unless you really want to see some *cough*boring*cough* impressions of France, don't waste your time here. Got it?

We did spy the moving statues hanging around in France, but alas I forgot to take a picture. They scared my youngest to death the last time we were there. They are very cool to watch so keep your eyes peeled if you see a statue that looks a little "odd". I'm cheating and adding a picture from Google, b/c I think the statues should be considered an Epcot "rite of passage"

We skim Morocco...at best. This was the summation of our Morocco tour.

"Look, there's Morocco"

"Yup"

"Remember when we took the kids back in the back to get Aladdin's autograph?"

"Yup"

"Awwww. I miss my babies":guilty:

"I know you do"

"Look, there's Japan"
