Meg, I absolutely LOVE Wishes too. As soon as that music starts playing, the tears start. How absolutely magical to be proposed to there, at that moment!!

Even YouTubing it can make me cry! Being there and seeing it is so amazing -- I tend to forget just how amazing.

It was SO sweet and I'm sure it is so memorable for them. When I told Charles about it, he said, "you would freak out if I did it in around that many people." Then he said, "wouldn't you?"

I'm finally about to update my TR. A REAL update! I finally have a day without homework so I have time I have 17 more days of school When I'm done I'll have lots of DIS time. I'm tired of school getting in the way of my DIS time!

My dad IS hilarious. Do you remember us in the EE line? When we were talking and I had to keep on interrupting myself to say, "dad, what are you doing?" "Dad, please stop." I forget just what he was doing but it warranted warnings. I remember he was making a bizarre noise on Primeval Whirl. And that I had no idea how to say "primeval" and kept on adding an "R" even though I am from Boston and we normally drop our R's.

We did forget, didn't we? And I do remember mentioning taking a picture because MeMom would be disappointed if we didn't! Katie and I had the same frame of mind last year. DIS meets always need to be documented.

I love Wishes, I am always in awe of it. I texted Katie after I updated and said that I really want to go with her soon because she "gets" it like I do!

Kailyn was cracking me up on this trip -- between her getting in pictures and even saying, "Meg, take a picture of this!", and doing something crazy, and getting freaked out on rides, she was really, really entertaining. And that's awesome that you're going back in November!

That's hilarious about your dad! I never think I have that strong an accent until someone mentions it, or points out how I say certain things. I was watching something a couple of weeks ago, I think on "FBI Files" -- it was about armored car robberies in the Boston area during the 80's and early 90's, and of course since it took place around here, the people that were on the cases and spoke about it had the accent, and I definitely noticed it. I remember I texted Katie and said I can't believe I actually sound like that.

I love the characters! I admit I am so much like a little kid when it comes to them, especially Goofy. I listen to Wishes all the time, if I'm feeling particularly brave I YouTube it. Katie emailed me the picture she submitted for the FB group and it is going to be my desktop picture very soon.

I think he's usually at the Epcot Character Spot -- you're not talking about the Disney Visa Meet n' Greet thing, right? I always saw him at the Character Spot. I remember because we'd walk by and I'd say, "there's Goofy! Hi Goofy!"

I did the same with Spectro both times I watched it -- I think I got a couple of blurry pictures, and the first night I watched it, I took a picture on my cell phone to send to Katie and that was pretty much it. And meeting up with Christine again was awesome! We did Dinosaur, EE, Primeval Whirl...it was awesome! It's so strange to think that none of that would have happened if our flight hadn't gotten canceled and we had to push the dates back a couple of days.

I do love RENT -- I'm also obsessed with musicals. I saw Phantom of the Opera five years ago and it was all over after that I got that backpack last summer, when I got to see RENT with Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal (my third time seeing the musical), and I'm going to see Wicked for the second time in October. I'd also like to see Mary Poppins; I missed The Lion King and I was so disappointed!

Katie texted me a couple of minutes ago, they made it to All-Star Movies! She knows now how to send pictures from her phone to Facebook, so anyone who is her friend on there can see them, and I'll be sure to post any pictures I get from her. I still can't fully believe she is really there, but I'm really excited!

Seriously! When Charles and I went to the beach today, there was one really impressive, huge house RIGHT on the water -- all I could think was that for the price of that house, I could buy DVC for myself, my whole family, some friends...I didn't bother voicing that to Charles because I knew what kind of look I would get.

I haven't really been updating for Katie. Sorry, guys! She's been sharing pictures on Facebook so I keep on forgetting to post them. They were at MK today, and I got a couple of pictures and video from IASW and HM. They were eating at Big River Grille tonight, and are going to Epcot for Illuminations! It has apparently been really hot there.

Charles and I went to the beach today, just to walk around and take pictures. We went to a really nice one about 45 minutes away. It was super empty -- there were some lifeguards and a few other people. There were supposed to be thunderstorms, but they came after we'd been there for about an hour or so. They were some intense storms!

Charles said, "the boardwalk leads down to the beach," and, of course, all I could think of was the Disney version. I sent Katie a similar picture on my phone and said it was our version of the boardwalk.

A very, very impressive house right on the ocean...

Charles named them Bill and Bob. I, of course, kept on saying, "mine. Mine." Charles took video of them and narrated for them, but I can't get the videos on my laptop. I also took some video, and when I said it was for my DIS friends who aren't near the ocean, he asked, "are you recording?", and then kept on walking across and saying crazy things.

It started getting darker. Much, much darker.

We started to walk a little farther down, because I wanted to find a couple of shells or one of those flat, smooth rocks for Katie. We didn't get too far before Charles started getting freaked out and wanting to turn back. You can kind of see the dark clouds behind me. And, yes, my capris got soaked. I had them rolled up as much as I could but the waves were pretty big.

Everyone got off the beach. Charles is the much more sensible one in our relationship...I said, "wouldn't it be awesome to watch the storm from the beach?" He said, "heck, no." I said, "but it would be epic." He said, "I'd rather not die." Point taken.

Walking back over the boardwalk to my car. You can see the top of it. We sat in the very back with the trunk open over our heads and watched the lightening and listened to the thunder. I think Charles may have gotten some video of the lightening bolts.

Right before the skies opened up...

I couldn't even open my window. Charles rolled his down a little and the rain came pouring in. I have automatic windows and I was afraid of everything on my driver's side getting soaked!

We waited a little bit for the rain to let up before starting to drive, but of course it started coming down really, really hard again as we were leaving. We made it to our destination of Fuddrucker's for burgers and fries. It ended up feeling a little cooler, but incredibly muggy, so there really wasn't any difference from the heat of earlier in the day.

I promise to have a real update soon -- I'm going to try to wait till after Katie gets back so she can update, too. Have a great week, guys!
