Whoops, double-post
Has he been with you?
Have you tried telling him how Disney has helped shape you into the woman he loves? He should at least appreciate it simply for that.
Tonight's dinner consisted of:
- Ezekiel spaghetti
- The dregs of a jar of garlic pasta sauce
- Pepperoni
- Peccorino romano cheese
- Cherries that are getting soft and the remainders of which I pray will last till tomorrow's lunch
- Several broken cashews (for some reason my brain almost ends up believing that if they're broken, the calories have fallen out)
[*]sauerkraut
I just gotta say--
5 days!!!!!!!!!!

It's that time again. The time that precedes every trip I take. When, a few days (or, in this case, six) out from the departure date, my meals begin to take on strange casts, induced by the need to use up spoilable foodstuffs (easily accumulated when you live alone) so they're not left in the fridge, and induced also by the lack of foodstuffs that have gone unbought because "I'll be gone for a week and there's no sense in buying it now."
He loves me and tolerates my love for Disney and I appreciate that. He's just not into "sharing the love". I still have hopes that I can get him there with me at least once in our lifetime.
No. He's mostly gone with his family that used to live in FL.
And an ex-girlfriend, I think, though he won't fess up to it. JERK.

I think some kind of bribery or something is in order. Maybe plan a trip with less parks, and more other stuff - water sprites, parasailing etc. If he's a baseball fan, maybe take off for some spring training while you are down there. (Non-Disney stuff). Once you get him to give it an okay you can slowly work up the Disney quotent. Or go to some horrid place he loves and then he'll owe you. Tell him he's never been to Disney with you and that will make all the difference.![]()
Seriously though I'm truly baffled by the non-Disney section of the population. What causes such an affliction? Where they attacked by wild mice and ducks in their youth? Does the high pitch of Mickey's voice cause them to writhe in pain? I don't get it!
I have to agree. I think it would make all the difference in the WORLD to take a trip to Disney with YOU. We must come up with a plan for you to trick....ahem...convince him to go to WDW with you.
"DISers help Tinkerbellarella Plot to Get BF to WDW: A Pre-Trip Report."

Excellent idea! I fully endorse this, Tink.Ooh, that could be a Pre-Trip report in itself! ...Just one with no confirmed departure date."DISers help Tinkerbellarella Plot to Get BF to WDW: A Pre-Trip Report."
Okay, the title could use some work. But the wheels, they are a-turnin'.

Don't know why it took me so long to see that you had a PTR! I'm always the last to arrive!![]()
No worries about being late. There will be the trip report! Bwa ha ha ha ha!Thank you for the dancing produce!Happy Dance for four days!!!![]()
BTW, you have my dream job -- being an editor! I would love to do that! Well, my real dream job is to be a writer, but my back-up dream job is to be an editor!![]()
Welcome! No worries about being late. There will be the trip report! Bwa ha ha ha ha!

It's educational publishing, which is... interesting. I didn't realize the vast amount of work that goes into preparing a curriculum for publication before I had this job. Frankly, I probably would prefer editing trade books, but I'd really have to live in NY for that, and I heart Colorado.
Anyway, my dream job is also to be a writer. I wasn't writing for a while, but NaNoWriMo got me back into it last year, and now I'm going through the edit on a novel I'd like to shop around when I have it done. If I could make just enough to live on, I'd be happy.
Although you do have my kudos because I am on the receiving end of all that educational publishing, and it boggles my mind when I think about what must go into getting those textbooks and all those supplemental materials into print!
Did you happen to purchase your Fit Flops today?
Okay, I'll admit that when I dream about editing it is not educational publishing.![]()

I'm really intrigued by the fit flops, I had never heard of them until you posted about them. You will have to give a review if you do buy them.Nope. Made it out to Kohl's, but not to Macy's. Maybe tomorrow--or I could also go to DSW. They're offering 500 bonus rewards points for every purchase, and I have a $10 reward certificate for having spent much of my funds there previously. We shall see.
