We plan on being there for RD each day. What's the latest thinking on what times to make FP+ reservations? In the morning to get more? Or afternoon to take advantage of RD?

Do you think I will need to get up at midnight to get a decent time for the 7DMT? We have no interest in seeing Anna and Elsa or any other characters requiring FP+ (well, we do but not enough to use a FP). Except maybe one day in MK we hope get in early and leave earlier (by five or six at the latest). I'd rather not have any FP+ reservations that late.

I posted a question a week or so ago about how I was confused because when our tickets arrived (ordered via the WDW web site after I had created a MDE account and made restaurant reservations), they were already linked. Anyway how do I know which physical ticket belongs to which person? Or will something happen at park entry to let us know?

I was only able to book 30 days out . I was able to book everything I wanted to include SDMT ( except A&E , only got 1) . I would stay up if you want to make sure, but honestly there were plenty when I went on ( I choose morning times 10/11/12)

I did it...its a personal decision. My girls wanted A&E and 7dMT, so it just was simpler to do it. I did go to bed and set an alarm..LOL, depending on where you live, it is eastern time, I believe that may make a difference, but not sure, a member here could verify that for you.

Thanks. I get up a little after 4:30 am for work anyway so I'm thinking that should be fine. I have a lot of trouble getting back to sleep once I'm up so I'm worried that with waking up, thinking, making decisions etc will make it really difficult for me to go back to sleep for another hour or two. I may risk it...but then knowing me I'll be so excited that I'll not be able to get to sleep lol.

Part of my hesitation is that I've got a bad case of allergies or a cold going on and am already exhausted due to that and a two day field trip to Chicago last week with my dd's 8th grade class.

I know it may sound silly but I would print out the map of each Park and circled where I want to go first, second third etc. than look at the park hrs, check if you have morning EMH, and than decide which FP+ and when.

For example: Epcot with morning EMH and RD:

- Soaring ( walk on at 8:15am )
- Living with the Land 8:40 am walk on
- Nemo ride at 9:00am walk on
- Crush show at 9:30am walk on but be around entrance at 9:25am

than I would use FP+ for TT at 10:10am and try to walk on the Norway ride at 10:45 (yes 15 min in line) since it opens at 11am.

other FP+ for anything you want.

MK is even more fun to plan to take advantage of morning EMH twice since only half of the park is open early. but if you plan it right - you can accomplish a lot in the morning and than use FP+ in late morning, afternoon and use additional in the evening.

also - by printing out the maps and listing the rides first - you can minimize walking and wasting time in the morning.

I just booked our FP+ reservations last Friday. I have to say that I did stay up until 12:00 to book our first night's passes, but I don't think it was necessary. Since I had never done it before, I only made one day's passes because it took a little longer than I thought and I was exhausted trying to figure out when to book them. We are going to go over to MK for Wishes on our arrival day and ride a few rides. I wanted to make sure we got 7DMT that night so I stayed up to book it.

We are going to do RD too, so I made our passes a little later in the day, except for Epcot. Not sure if that's the best thing to do or not. I was thinking that it's going to be pretty busy and FPs would be gone pretty early in the day to get a 4th. That's why I decided to RD and get passes a little later in the day and maybe take a break in the afternoon. Hopefully it will work out!!
