Brand new to character/table service dining.

I just changed my ADR time from 4:30 PM to 4:45 PM to give us a little more room in case we don't get to the gate right at 4 PM for our PPP night.

If we find ourselves at CP at 4:30 PM can we asked to be seated then if available or our we held strictly to 4:45 PM? Since there is an outside waiting area for the CP, we wait until they call us in correct?

Is there a specific area of the CP I should ask to be seated in for the best character interaction?

Thank you,
Amy

You can check in early and if there is a table available for your party size and it is not packed they may seat you or you may have to wait. HTH!

The characters travel from table to table, so I don't think one is better than another. We've been on both sides of the dining room and at both inside and outside tables. It's just luck when they come, but since they're so bright and colorful, you can see them coming and wait to go to the buffet after they leave!

As far as character interaction, the space is laid out fairly well. One time we went and we were seated at a table where half of our party sat in a shared booth seating and the rest sat in chairs. This was difficult for the family members to get out and take pictures with the characters. So I would suggest a full table with all chairs.

Make sense?

Well said. We have never seen it 'uncrowded', but have been seated early once.

No difference in character interaction, depending on our seating area in restaurant.

Thanks and I agree about the seating. I don't really think there is a bad seat per se, but I have heard people copmplain that they didn't get to see one character or another, but I have never had that happen.
