Two Castles and a Polynesian Dream (A Wedding & a Disneymoon) Update*Mr & Mrs*

I love bling but am sure the ring you picked is perfect for you - after all your the one that will have to wear it every day!! Can't wait to see the pics of both rings.

Am glad you secured upstairs - don't want to be crowded for a long haul flight.

I know I can't believe it either - at this rate Sept will be here before we know it!

Well I am also kinda weird in that I hate traditional things or 'the norm', so I did not want a gold or silver ring from the offset. I went with a titanium one instead because it's a different colour and it's also nice and light :)

September is approaching fast indeed. I don't think i'm nervous or anything yet, but I know I will be on the day lol. Though i'm not sure why i would be!

I also had another idea for the whole 'Dave's day of surprises' which I am very excited about and should be able to book in a few days (Hooray for paying on next months credit card bill lol) :cool1:

Titanium sounds cool! :thumbsup2 Am glad it's nice and light :)

It sure is, isn't it? Lol most people are nervous on their big day but you are right you have no reason to be. Sounds like you and Stefy are going to have a great day and am sure everything will go like clockwork.

Ooh another surprise idea - please share! You can't not tell us! :lmao: Yay on being able to book it in a few days and paying on next month's credit bill!

I'm trying to persuade my fella to attend MNSSHP - he's not sold on the idea yet. If you think of any way I can convince him to attend let me know! :)

Yeah things are coming along nicely, our wedding planner over in Italy is awesome, she has made things so much easier for Stef in particular which is what I wanted from the off set, kind of why I wanted the whole wedding abroad thing.

I may pm you my idea lol, I can't really post it on here that's for sure ;)

I can't believe he isn't sold on MNSSHP!!!! It is the best event they do in my opinion (i'm sure Stef would agree). The parade alone is worth the cost of admission, it's very very well done. Maybe put on a youtube video to give him an idea? Also hallowishes is amazing! Does he like the regular parades and/or wishes? If so then he will love these halloween themed ones. Plus, the parks are not as crowded as during the day and you wont really need to use fast pass. Plus, for one night you can dress up in whatever you want and not care if you look stupid because you literally will not know anyone from home there. I really want to dress up this year :woohoo:

I opted out of the more expensive bling type ring in the end lol, I hate wearing jewellery and spent quite a while trying different ones on until I picked one that I could barely notice being on my finger :lmao:

Very glad the whole seat thing has been resolved as well, I did not want to end up in the downstairs area of the plane only because it is very very crowded. Upstairs there are only 50 people and it's nice and quiet as well :)

Can't believe it;s almost the middle of June either, this year is flying by so quickly :scared1:

You could've gone Prince William style and not wear a ring at all. ;)

Everything sounds great guys!! Glad you were able to get the table arrangements and flight seating settled. Isn't it funny how every little thing is soooo important? :)

Haha well my original idea was to just get the ring style/colour etc tattooed instead as then it would be there but i wouldnt have to wear it. Might still do it one day, will have to see.

I think things seem more important to us because we aren't getting married in England, so we cant just go and see people and flowers etc whenever we want to. Everything is going by pictures we send to see what can be done/made etc so it makes things a bit tougher but like I said, Pam has been awesome with all of our requests. Can't wait to get out there by that lake and just soak it all in :)

Yes, that would be quite nerve-wracking not being there to see it all get done. Glad you have a great planner you can trust. Are you planning another trip there before the wedding? How fat in advance will you guys get there before the wedding? I hope you'll have at least a few days before guests arrive to scope it all out and just enjoy the environment!

Well for legal reason we need to be there at least 3 days before the wedding day. So we are going out on Monday 5th September and then leaving 2 days after the wedding so we will be home on Saturday night. Then it's Sunday + 2 working days and then off we go. So no, not going out there any earlier than the 5th, but on the 6th we will be going to the town hall to sign our documents and declarations etc, flower shop, restaurant and all of those things to tie it all together. Should go like clockwork and i'll be having numerous ice creams along the way! The ice cream is so damn good.....

I've been missing you, girl! Glad to have you back! :goodvibes

How wonderful that you got the seats you wanted on the plane. It's such a relief to know that the arrangements one would like to see are actually working out!

And I am happy to hear that wedding prep is coming along nicely as well. It will be here before you know it!

Let us know how things go .......... greetings and pixie dust from Austria! :wizard:

Oops sorry Karin, didn't mean to be rude by not responding to you, forgot to hit the multi quote button before. You aren't the only one who missed her updates, I like them so that I can see the day plans fully laid out in front of me in picture form haha, makes it nicer to go through :rotfl:

So you are going back to WDW in September?

I'm glad to hear that and your reason for wanting the wedding abroad has worked. Your venue looks like an awesome place!

Yep posting on here may ruin the surprise lol! Feel free to pm the idea otherwise I will read all about it after the event :thumbsup2

I know - me either!! He must be the only person not to be sold on the idea! I've shown him some You Tube vids. Have heard about Hallowishes and the whole atmosphere of the event! He's never seen the regular parades or wishes so have nothing to compare to. Am sure he'll come around eventually!

Yay on dressing up this year! Can't wait to see what you guys decide to wear! :cool1:

So you are going back to WDW in September?

No problem, Dave!

I love the way your days are all planned out and the fact that you have a fun little surprise for her up your sleeve makes it even more exciting.

Tom and I are going back to WDW in August. We'll stay at OKW for 8 nights, then on to the DREAM for three cruises back to back and then back to OKW for another 9 nights. Unfortunately we will go home right before you and Stefy arrive! :sad2:

Glad to hear that wedding plans are going along nicely! And awesome that you got the same plane seats :thumbsup2

Aww thanks  Am v happy we got the seats we wanted, they are the very back seats so there is noone behind us and we can recline all the way back without having to worry about annoying anyone :)

Yes wedding plans are going well, not too stressful which is good. Pam is a godsend I tell you :cutie:

Hope you're doing ok, hows the weather in Austria? It's so topsy turvy here, its getting old fast!

Hi! Am glad to read that Dave's ring is now bought! :cool1:

Also phew on being able to get your plane seating sorted and not have to worry about it anymore! That must be a relief.

Thanks :) Am glad that he got the ring he wanted as he was iffy in the beginning about designs etc

So glad we sorted the seats, nothing worse then finding out your plane has changed and your seats allocated before have gone. I tend to not like to have to worry about my flight once it been booked and paid for.

You could've gone Prince William style and not wear a ring at all. ;)

I don't mind the idea of him getting a ring tattooed on his finger, but I would like him to wear a ring. Don't really get why Wills didn't want to wear a ring :confused3

There's still quite a few things to order and being that I can't get things delivered and have to deliberate whether to post on beforehand or pack in the suitcase it does seem really important whatever we order/decide.

Glad to hear that wedding plans are going along nicely! And awesome that you got the same plane seats :thumbsup2

Thanks :) Hopefully within the next month or two everything will be done and then its just a waiting game :)

Good to hear from you Stefy and Dave. I can't believe how quickly the wedding and your exciting trip is coming up. Plus our meet as well. Glad to hear things are moving forward.

Hey Kathy, yep things are moving along nicely. Can't wait for it to get here, so fed up with work just need a break.

Just spent the last hour and a half going through photos to upload to the thread, finally finished picking them out, hit upload and bang went straight to the upload a photo page, rather than uploading my chosen photos. So not happy right now  Suffice to say I am giving up on the update for tonight as its too late to start over I'm afraid. Sorry guys :(

Hi Stefy & Dave  I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I have so much to catch up on that I haven't gone back to catch up -- isn't that silly? Concentrated effort tonight!

Hey you thanks for sticking with, hope you're doing ok. Updates are coming, when stupid Photobucket decides it wants to work properly

Dave I got a titanium ring for my wedding band, it will last thru anything.

You and Stefy will get along great with Sophia and Joe, great people we live about 45min from them. We've meet then several times, they are coming over to the house this month on the 25th.

We will be down at Disney from the (9/ 12 to 9/22 hope to maybe catch you both in one of the parks.

Glad to hear it, though im not overly worried. As long as it's light and I barely know it's there, i'll do fine :goodvibes

Yeah they are great, I chat to Joe nearly every day for an hour or two before I have to leave work, random stuff really but I am looking forward to our Epcot day. Lots of food and drink to be had, shame it's not Food & Wine Festival but we will make do with what's already there :cool1:

Well stay tuned into the thread, and if you spot an opening or if any of our days overlap then let us know and we can work something out :thumbsup2

Don't you hate when that happens? I was trying to do my update on my ptr last week and I had everything ready and when I clicked enter it told me that I had already signed in or something  so I pressed the back button and I lost all of my work....GRR....That's why now as soon as I am done with my update I copy it so that in case it get's lost I can still re-update! Hope your weekend is going good :)

I usually do do that when typing out my PTR's/TR's (way to many lost work situations previously), silly Photobucket decided it didn't want to work :(

Weekend was wonderful thank you for asking, hope yours was great too :goodvibes
