Two Castles and a Polynesian Dream (A Wedding & a Disneymoon) Update*Mr & Mrs*

Hi and :welcome: Thanks for reading along and for your lovely comments.

Lake Garda is just beautiful and serene, we are so excited to be going back and getting married at that!

Do your parents still live there? Those little towns out of the main part are so quaint :)

Love the flowers with the pearls! Beautiful.

No, my parents actually moved to Canada (Montreal) before getting married a zillion years ago , but their families are all still in Italy. A few years ago they bought a small apartment there to have a place to stay and not have to always stay with family when they go as my dad is retired now and my mom works for herself so they go over and stay for 7-8 weeks every fall.

Gorgeous flowers Stefy. The pearls are lovely.... did you know those Mickey head beads come in clear too? You could always wrap it around the base for a hidden little touch just for you. ;)

I love having Starbucks as a treat! :thumbsup2 They sure have some great drinks...oooh am just picturing a Strawberries and Cream and could have one right about now!!

Yes, the pearls sure do finish off the flowers - am glad your keeping them that way :)

Strawberries and cream is perfect for a lovely summers day :)

I do love the flowers! I think you should go wtih whatever you want, but if you do the beads, stay minimal. I had Cymbidum orchids, freesia, and peacock feathers.... everyone thought it was insane, but they only put one two or three in the bouquet. It didn't take away from the classic style of the flowers, but it also made it "mine."

Though, I don't think you can go wrong with the pearls, or with nothing but the flowers, they are so brilliant. (Maybe use the same types of beads as the push pins if you are doing french tied?

You flowers sound lovely :) Freesias are my favourite flowers :flower3:

I think I am gonna leave it as it is and stick a hidden Mickey on the stem part :)

Gosh that must be nice to have a little house in Italy that you can go vacation at and you too :)

Thanks :) Am thinking that it will be the small hidden Mickey out of three pearls :)

Thanks :) Did you make it to the zoo?

No :( I was planning on it, but found out that they had closed portions of the Africa section (ours is divided into the same areas as Animal Kingdom!) were closed because they're building a ski-lift type thing so you can ride overtop the animals! I'm waiting until they open it to head to the zoo! :) I also wanted to try to go to the Union Station near us and go to the Princess Diana exhibit but the tickets were $23 a person :scared1: A little expensive, if you ask me! I might just bite the bullet and pay it! I ended up going out with my Grandma on Saturday. We went to Walmart and then went to Panera Bread for lunch then came back home and relaxed on the porch and played canasta! Sunday we went to Sam's Club and relaxed :)

I love the bouquet! So pretty! I would prefer the mickey heads :) It would add the little bit of Disney that you need :) Personally i'm more of a pink flower girl, here's the ones that I am in love with (sorry there's so many pix, some of them are for the bridesmaids and flower girls!
Here are the bridesmaids bouquets I want!

Sorry about all the pix!

QWow, love those wedding favours stefy, really different but very cool! and totally fitting with the scheme, this is good for making me realise how many details are needed when planning a wedding!:goodvibes

I really like your flowers, although I hope you can get some Disney touches incorporated I think the pearls were more elegant than the coloured beads, but...how about making a little tiny mickey head and ears silhouette with wre and maybe threading it with pearls if that was possible and having a few of those subtly tucked in among the loose pearls? maybe thats not even do-able!

Favors are adorable! Love the colors!

Thanks :)

That's a shame about the zoo, but will be better the next time you go with the new additions :)

Thanks :) We love the favours, can't wait to see them in the flesh.

Flower wise, that sounds good, but I think I am going to stick with it as it is and add a hidden Mickey on the stem part :)

Hey Stef, haven't posted in a while but everything is really looking beautiful! I can't comment to much without sounding to girly but I can't wait to see some wedding pictures. I'm sure it will all look like it came from a fairytale :thumbsup2

Don't blink. Make each day count. That's the best advice advice I know. 7 months from now you'll remember I said that and smile. Than you'll look over at your 7 and 5 year old and realize that it's been years and not months and wonder where the time went. I know it sounds stupid and corny, but trust me it will happen....I'm speaking from experience ;)

Ditto! I have 7 & 5 year old boys too and was just looking at pictures of my Disneymoon almost 13 years ago!!!! Seems like yesterday honestly, can't believe it's been that long. Enjoy every moment leading up to it, the years start flying by fast.

Well Stef & I have been together for almost 9 years now and I know what you mean about time flying. We have been places and done loads of things together and it's been fun all the way. Marriage is just another step forward for us. Cant wait to see what comes after :rotfl:

I can't wait to start the next chapter in my life and I know I shouldn't be wishing the small moments away to get there, but then this is me Stephanie a Leo from London who is always in a hurry and too impatient to wait for anything

But I do get what you all say and that we should savour the moments we have and I pray that every moment is a wonderful one :goodvibes

I love the flowers! :) I love that you are using fall colors, the orange is so pretty!

I know what you mean about being impatient, I'm the same way when it comes to waiting for big things to get here (like weddings and Disney trips!)! I try to enjoy each day, but in the back of my mind I'm always thinking "come ON already, just get here!" :rotfl:

Thank you, we are happy with the colour theme and its cool that it fits in with fall as that is our favourite time of year (apart from summer).

Totally with you, am like that everyday I'm at work. But the anticipation and excitements makes it all worthwhile in the end :)

You both are just so well suited for each other. I say just keep having fun and alway have dessert!:)
