Two Bathrooms?

Hi! Hoping someone has this answer right at their fingertips.

We are trying to decide which resort to stay in next year. I've got two teenagers, and I was thinking that having two bathrooms would be a HUGE plus. I really do not want to book 2 rooms, since I know that they aren't guaranteed to be connecting or adjoining. So, we're really just looking for one unit that has two bathrooms. We also would like to stay either Deluxe or DVC.

I tried looking at the room descriptions on the Disney website, but they aren't super clear as to the number of bathrooms within each room category.

And, the more I think about it...we wouldn't even need two full bathrooms. One full bath and one half bath would be great too!

Thanks! :goodvibes

I'm almost certain the treehouse villas have extra bathrooms, but they are hugely expensive.

There are no regular deluxe rooms or DVC studios that have 2 bathrooms that I'm aware of. You're looking at a suite someplace, which are quite pricey (outside of AoA or ASMu, which you've indicated you don't want).

We rented points for a studio at the Polynesian Villas last month, where we had one huge full bath and then one shower/vanity bathroom. This was wonderful since we have a teen, so check out the Poly!

Most (if not all?) of the Deluxe resorts have 2 bedroom suites, so they will have at least 2 bathrooms. These are part of the Club Level and are pretty expensive. Depending on what time of year you are looking at, and which specific resort-probably at least $1500/night rack rate.

We don't mind springing for a suite as this is a special occasion we're celebrating on this trip. Do you happen to know if there are any one-bedroom suites or DVC units with two bathrooms...or is it only the two-bedroom suites that have this set-up?

Oohh...that sounds interesting...I will have to check that out! The best ever trip we took was to Poly TPV Club Level...it was awesome and I love the Poly! We've never stayed in a Studio before. My only hesitation is that the kids would have to sleep on a pull-out right? I'm assuming there is only one 'regular' bed? It may be worth the trade-off though to have the two bathroom areas... :)

Thank you...I will take a look at this! We've never stayed at Bay Lake before. It's always fun to try a new resort!

We love the one bedroom at Bay Lake, 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer and a full kitchen. Sofa Bed can sleep 2 and the sleeping chair can sleep one. Best part is you can walk to the Magic Kingdom in under 10 minutes :-)

The CR "Bay Lake View - 1 Bedroom Suite - Club Level" has 2 bathrooms. Rack rates on that one are in the $1300-$1700ish range depending on the time of year. It's an amazing room BTW! Two queens plus a pull-out couch.

I suspect the CR "Garden Wing - 1 Bedroom Suite" also has 2 bathrooms but I don't know that for sure.

I think someone mentioned above but the Poly DVC/Villa rooms have 2 bathrooms. But what you get in bathrooms you trade off in living space and only having one true bed.

One alternative is staying CL, which at least gives people "another place" to go to while folks are getting ready.

Hope that helps!

Bay Lake's one bedroom has two full bathrooms.

The 1BR at Kidani also have two bathrooms.

Yep, the one bedroom villas at kidani & bay lake both have 2 bathrooms. It's great to have the second bathroom, I agree. We have stayed and both and enjoyed our stay at both resorts.

The 1 bedroom villas also feature in-room washer/drier and a full size fridge/kitchen.

You're right to think two bathrooms. Great suggestions so far, but I have a thought about connecting rooms. I feel like I've read somewhere on here that families with minors are generally "guaranteed" connecting rooms. I'm not stating that's a fact, but one of our experts here will know more.

Over to you...

As listed above, 1 bedrooms at Bay Lake and Kidani Village have 2 full bathrooms. Most other DVC 1 bedrooms have a "split bath". One room with a shower, toilet and sink. Another separate part of the bathroom with a tub and sink. Not 2 full bathrooms, but it allows multiple people to get ready at once. I know that the Jambo 1 bathrooms do not have this configuration. Not sure about the new Copper Creek 1 bedrooms - we haven't stayed there - we have stayed at the rest of the DVC 1 bedrooms.

Also, Poly studios have 2 bathrooms with 2 sinks, 2 showers, but only 1 toilet. Our studio portion of our Grand Floridian 2 bedroom also had the same set up with 2 showers, sinks and 1 toilet.
