Two adults - 35, no kids going for five days in Feb. (President's week) BF is leaving planning up to my discretion. He's very easy going and adventerous with food choices, I'm very picky (meat and potatoes) and allergic to fish (not bad, just can't eat a few types)
We expect lots of kids at the resort and parks and hey, if they can't be obnixious at WDW, where can they be?! But we'd like dinners to be a BIT quieter and adult if possible. We don't want character dining, and are on a slow pace, if we miss something, we miss it.
Staying at Pop Century and doing the Magical Express and dining plan. Reviews on the places we've selected, please?

Day 1 - arrive MCO at 5pm so CS at Pop Century
Day 2 - EPCOT - CS lunch, Tangeriene for him, Liberty Cafe (?) for me, TS dinner at Coral Reef. - Is park attire ok for Coral Reef (nice shorts, tops)
Day 3 - Water Park, weather permitting (we're from NY) CS lunch at the park,
TS at Wolfgang Puck followed by sensory overload at DisneyQuest
Day 4 - Magic Kingdom - CS at the park, leave the park for dinner - TS at Artist Point at WL (using two TS)- this is the big question, not many reivews out there and can we go in "park clothes", we don't want to go back to the hotel - then return to MK.
Day 5 - MGM - CS at the park leaving to go to EPCOT for dinner at LeCellier
Day 6 - Depart MCO at 11:19 to return to the snow.

I grew up going to MK every year, BF has been to EPCOT and AK for a day and neither of us has been to MGM.
So - big questions, will we both find food we like and how do we dress?
Thanks so much! :wizard:

nice shorts are acceptable at all the restaurants you mentioned. we love artist point; it is one of our favorites! you should be able to find entrees both of you will enjoy. have a great trip! :earboy2:

Thanks so much. I'm an "overplanner" and even though BF is laidback, I worried so about my choices!

Took my DH on our last trip to Artist Point and he loved it and he is a meat and potatoes guy. It was very quiet and the food was great. We wore good jeans and shirts and never felt out of place here. Some people were in shorts others dress clothes and others like us.

I think you made good choices for both adventerous & non-adventerous eaters. Artist Point is one of our favorite WDW restaurants. You'll be fine going in Park clothes, given nothing is ripped or wet. Nice shorts/jeans/khakis & a decent shirt are all that's required. Even after the dress code was instituted, we saw a family straight from the swimming pool - suits, cover-ups & dripping hair. They were still seated. So don't worry too much about that dress code.

Thanks for all of the advice. If we didn't need reservations it wouldn't be a big deal. But I feel like "If I have to make reservations it better be good" Kep the advice and opinions coming - PLEASE!

I just posted a detailed review of Artist Point in my review thread. Don't cancel this adr, you will love it! As far as dress goes, most people were a little more dressy than park clothes when we were there, but we saw some people in t-shirts, etc. I am sure they will make you feel welcome no matter what you wear. Since you like meat and ptoatoes, I recommend the pork chop to you. It is my DH's favorite! Have a great trip!
