My friend and her DH just decided to plan a trip to WDW (her first, and he hasn't been there for years) in July. They are leaving both DS's at home....actually not even telling the 7yo where they are going, b/c they feel so guilty!!! They say that they are using this trip as the "scouting trip" to get a headstart when they do their first family trip there.
Well here is my question. I'm going to help plan their 4 night trip there, although, with such a short trip, I have no idea where to tell them to start! They are staying at POR, and will be arriving in the middle of 07/29, departing 08/02. What is a list of your MUST SEE's and DO's. I have mine, but I really want them to give them the best info possible, and I have only had 2 trips to WDW, and both have been long enough for us to see and do alot. Plus, I have only been there in Feb and Oct, both "off season" so any heads up on attendance, weather, etc, would be appreciated as well!
Even if you guys have any suggestions for books, that would be great. I've used Birnbaums, but I know that they are published by Disney, so everything is great according to them. Not that it all isn't great, but a little different view would be nice, too!
Thanks for your help in advance!
ps...I did let her know about these wonderful boards, but I am not sure if she'll use them, but after I let her know of your suggestions, I'm sure she'll jump on right away!
