Twister Sisters...Storm Chasers

Did anyone watch this show on thye We channel? I love it that these two almost middle aged womenare following their passion and chasing storms around Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. I'm so serious, that when my kids are on their own, I'm going to be doing something like that.

I saw on their website that there's going to be a NOAA Severe Weather Seminar, and I'm already looking at airfares, for March 2008 to attend this thing. They teach you how to identify impending severe/extreme weather, mainly tornados, and also do a disaster simulation. I'm so excited about this, and I may end up killing my own thread, but just wanted to see if there is anyone who wants to be my Twister Sister!!

It's so funny that you mention this. I watched this show for the 1st time tonight and I'm hooked. Plus, I can't help but be a little curious myself although tornados scare the crap out of me.

I can just see it now, when tornado season kicks up again all these people are going to be out on the roads searching for twisters!!!

Who knows, DS and I might be one one them some weekend.....
